    Lower priced e bike

If you're just going to putz around the neighborhood a few times a year, sure, it'll probably be fine. I wouldn't rely on it to take me anywhere though. Definitely wouldn't count on it to get me back home. At the very least, I'd want to go through every part on it & make sure it's not going...

I never say where we're going. They don't usually realize where we are 'till there are all sorts of airplanes a few feet away. I live in the neighborhood - get a fair amount of F-15, 16 traffic at times - makes a helluva racket. Sometimes they park 'em up by the restaurant. I need to take...

Yep - my favorite restaurant in the metro. And it's easy bikeshot. It's just soooooooooo cool. And the food ain't bad either. I do happy hour up there with some pals now & again. Dinner when friends come in and wanna do something different. They're always blown away.

I'd get out there on a motard. It's at Centennial airport. I don't know when they whipped it back into shape, but it was looking rough not even a year ago - figured I'd never see it in action.

When was the last time You listened to a record album?

I still have a copy of this. Don't listen to it much, but it has seen a lot of use. It made the rounds in hi-fi circles. Not a vinyl person myself, but have heard a lot of nice setups. I wouldn't consider vinyl to superior in any way to a good digital setup, other than the nostalgia &...

Was riding around & heard what sounded like karts. There's this old track over by the airport that hasn't been used in forever - can't be that can it? Looks like it can - they re-opened the track!

    Not buying Specialized ebikes again.

I've had the same experience with Trek. Reported an increase in the vibration at certain motor speeds and loads, but 2 shops said they could not reproduce it. When I finally got a hold of someone at corporate, they bounced me back to the shops & weren't nice about it. Seems their tactic is...

If it's nice & sunny where you live, let the tire sit in the Sun for a while. It's a little easier when it's nice & soft.

Rake matters, but that's something that's difficult to change. There are headsets that can alter head tube angles a little bit, or you could use a different fork. Would it do anything to change the resonance? Who knows? A steering damper would help, but I don't know anyone who makes those...

Weight on the rear was my 1st though as well. If you can move some of that weight in front of the rear axle, it might help.

    Recommendations for cycling rain wear?

I use REI branded gore-tex. Generally buy a size too big so I can fit my camelbak under it. Hood goes under the helmet. It's not the cheapest, but lasts and works like nothing I've ever tried. My old Performance Bike kit finally wore out after 20 years - we'll see how long the REI kit goes...

You can totally change a tire with a tubeless in the field. You probably just won't have an extra tire on you :) . You also might need CO2 cartridges to seat the bead. Most carry a tube in the case that the tire takes a nasty hit.

Don't feel too bad. I've had a wire bead tire that I had to use steel motorcycle levers on before. Broke one of my Park plastic levers on it

Of course you can still get a flat silly. It's just a lot less likely with tubeless - as your link implies
