Bafang Ultra what’s the difference between G510 and M620

Corn head grease is a polyurea based 0 grade grease that liquify's during use which doesn't effect efficiency (as much) and returns to grease when static. My motor becomes quieter as it operates for example. #2 grade lithium greases remain thick while in use which can reduce efficiency...

Bafang Ultra what’s the difference between G510 and M620

The M620's I have cracked open direct from the factory have a very little amount of white lithium in them. I remove an replace with a few tablespoons worth of John Deere Corn Head grease and that lubricates and quiets them down nicely. Others have had success with different grease the main thing...

New, a 70+ cyclist with a Cannondale Topstone Neo SL1

Wasn't meant as a slight I just think that it is interesting to note the economy of bikes such as yours. Not knowing what the Ah rating of your battery is I would assume that your wh/km use is quite low.

Just curious if you have tracked your average wh/km and average speed?

    Multiple e-bikes, one battery?

It is entirely possible you just have to factor in compatible voltage and how they are constructed and cradeled on the bike as well as the +/- connections.

Brakes ?? what stopping Me? lol pretty lame I know But?

Alot. I'd go in favor of the Magura 4piston with the 203 rotors. I have a M620 60lb bike and weigh quite a bit less than you and have a 220mm rotor on the front and 200mm on the rear with 4piston calipers. Stopping power on a heavy powerful bike is not a place to skrimp.

    Do I need an eMTB?

"but I don't get too far away from houses before I need to turn back, so I thought about getting an e-bike to get further afield and enjoy the area." I try to never ride any further from home/vehicle than I feel I can walk back to civilization in case of a breakdown. I have used that option...

    Rad law suit

I'm sorry but I have 0 sympathy for anyone that try's to sue over "front wheel disengaging' issues. Because first and foremost the front wheel must be properly engaged. It wasn't Rad's fault that the person didn't read and follow the directions. In fact it happened to my former wife years ago...

    1500km+ journey with R&M superdelite

Looks like a great adventure, thanks for sharing! I especially like the infrastructure there for cycling as compared to here in the U.S.. I live along a very popular long distance cycling route and I feel for the folks that are doing it because it seems extremely dangerous as there are very few...

Fully Charged Canada - Vancouver Sep 8th to 10th

Alot of eIQ in that group shot! You need to do a bike with that hub motor Ravi, regen rocks! I use it all the time on my AnyAxle front hub bike. And Free Wheeling is the icing on the cake although the AA hub is pretty much there also. If it wasn't for hills DD hubs would rule the world!

Watt Wagons Critical Product Availability Status

According to the tag 60v x 28A is 1680w peak not 1800w? If CanBus then you have no access to increase the Amp's. A 52v @ 30A is 1560w peak so yes it is not the most powerful Bafang mid drive apparently but to me the ability to tune the motor via it being UART to my needs exceeds the extra 120w...

Watt Wagons Critical Product Availability Status

UART m620's are still available in 48v and 52v from GreenBikIt, a China based Bafang supplier and one would assume they get them from Bafang? If they wanted they could get motors from them to satisfy their clients. As far as I know the highest performance motor that Bafang makes in mid drive is...

Who is transporting their bike in the back of a station wagon, bike laying on its side?

If I'm carrying it in my wagon I put the passenger seats down take the front wheel off to shorten it and put it back wheel first. Lay it down on the non drive side and then place the front wheel on top of the frame. In my van that I took all the back seats out of and gave to a junkyard I just...

    WW 52V Battery Issue

I actually have both 48v, 720wh, and 52v, 780wh, 21700 batteries and started off with the stock 840wh 18650. Both are snappier and have better range than stock. YMMV

    WW 52V Battery Issue

Another option is to get a new 52v battery with 21700 cells. Drops the wh rating to 780 but I have been using one for a year and it performs very well in fact better for power and range than the stock 840wh 48v my bike came with. Contact [email protected], cost will be around $400 shipped.

    New wheel size?

It turns into a bit of a nerd out for sure trying to follow all that has gone on in relation to wheel sizes over the years and what has stuck around. 700c is the outright winner IMHO and in use world wide for adult bicycles. The fact that it is the stock size for both road and mtb, since it's...

    New wheel size?

WTB's designation is 750d which is based on the diameter of the wheel overall. However there are standards in the bike industry in regards to wheel size that are a bit nebulous and depends on how companies feel they can best market them? A decent explanation here of the current popular wheel...
