    Dash cams for bikes

You can install a 48v to 5v inverter to run the system however since I already had a bunch of power bank's sitting around so I decided to give them a try and to my surprise it worked like a charm. No need for any extra wires, got planty of those on the bike as is. Here is the power bank's...

Hello everyone Steve from Ontario Canada. I just picked up a Gio Ebike

Voltage for sure, amps that will depend on what your motor is designed to handle, you do not want to feed 2000 wats to it if it's designed to handle only 500. Have a look at the original and go from there.

Hello everyone Steve from Ontario Canada. I just picked up a Gio Ebike

@evest Welcome to the forum. Your original controller should be able to handle the voltage, usually the caps are rated for 60 volts in these having said that I would look for a new one with better specs. I have updated my batteries in my Motorino with 52volt pack and left the original 48v...

    Swap Display?

@kmccune As long as the replacement display is using the same protocol as the original to communicate with the controller you can make it work, however displays using a different protocol will not be compatible. need advice on switching from lead acid to lithium ion on my ebike/scooter tao tao 806

All I was saying is that if you are able to afford it is to get a replacement battery with a higher Amperage than the original, this will allow you to go further distance per charge. As you are on a budget this may not possible at present time. You may like to google "ping battery" to see if...

need advice on switching from lead acid to lithium ion on my ebike/scooter tao tao 806

@xanten Using a battery that has same Voltage as the original is the safest way of doing the switch without knowing what the controller is rated for. Using a 60v battery (as you stated) with amp rating of say 40amps it will allow you to go much further on a full charge and your controller will...
