    Firmware update for charging limit

Yeah. I think it only applies if you ride a know route or amount of time and know you won't use the full charge. Otherwise I'd want my battery to be 100. Also. Sometimes if I know I have extra charge, I'd ride farther or a different route. Kind of a weird thing to be honest. Buy a bike...

    Firmware update for charging limit

Interesting. I just got an email about it. It says it can only be done by a dealer and that they may charge for it. It's interesting that they put that caveat in about dealers charging for firmware upgrades. Pretty BS. Definitely won't be getting another Specialized bike if they try and...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

Out for the season. Scrambled my ankle into small pieces. Hopefully back in the spring. Keeping up with all the SL news so I can get back in the saddle!

New Firmware for multiple bikes. Only updatable via the bike shop

So all this begs the question.... I'm assuming there isn't some place that I could possibly download firmware and utility and do it myself unofficially?

New Firmware for multiple bikes. Only updatable via the bike shop

$50 for a firmware update. What a rip. I think if you need to get a firmware update and they don't allow you to do it yourself, it should be free. What about the 2-year warranty? Shouldn't they be covering the firmware under warranty?

New Firmware for multiple bikes. Only updatable via the bike shop

It is pretty irritating that I have to bring it to a shop. I live in the mountains. The retailer that I bought my bike from, has switched to ski season. So now I have to wait until spring. Also, pretty much every other electronic thing that has firmware (Bios, phones, cameras, thermostats...

New Firmware for multiple bikes. Only updatable via the bike shop

Which is strange because the release notes mention a new battery firmware, but in the app it says the latest is still 0.4.15. Also, the app mentions a newer display firmware, but the release notes don't say anything about that. Ah well. I get updates are good?

Downgrade Vado SL to Class 1?

I usually take most of the stickers off my bikes after I purchase them. The lbs didn't tell me what class it was either. I don't remember what class my bike is :)

New Firmware for multiple bikes. Only updatable via the bike shop

Got a notification of new Firmware via email. Updated Mission Control to 3.5. I have a Turbo Vado SL, but it looks like the firmware is available for multiple bikes. I didn't download the release notes. Looks like motor, display and possibly battery firmware. Mission Control reports that...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

Found another advantage of the AXS, is that I can now see what gear I'm in, from my Garmin GPS. Nifty. Nerdy 😃

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

Nerd factor 😃 faster/more accurate shifting. Less cables? Bored because it's too cold to ride and not enough snow to ski yet? 😃

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

Anyone upgrading/upgraded their Sram GX derailleur to AXS? Seems like they are on sale at a few places right now for $420. Ordered it and should be getting next week. Also ordered an upgraded paddle shifter for $20. Wondering if there is any way of powering the derailleur off the main...

Broken headlight mount fiasco for Vado 4.0 SL

The broken arm should come off the mounting bracket that comes off the light. You have to use a tool on both sides of the bracket, to loosen/tighten it.

2022 Turbo Vado SL 5.0 Garmin 530 power cadence

if you want some of the detailed stats, yes. The bike has a built-in sensor that gives you some info, but probably not as much as a dedicated power sensor.

2022 Turbo Vado SL 5.0 Garmin 530 power cadence

I don't think the power page has the right items to read power from the Vado. At least from what I can tell on your screen. You have to add a setting to a screen. 3s Power is the one.

Vado SL 5.0 saddle isn't comfortable

I've attached my rear light to a few saddles using 3M double sided tape (the gray stuff for trim). Available at most automotive shops. Holds easily and securely, but able to be removed if needed.

Kinekt seat post + Specialized 'Mirror' seat

I would blame you or the LBS, but only if the LBS is a Specialized Dealer. I would assume a Specialized Dealer would know the restrictions about the seat. Then again...maybe not even the LBS then, because I'm assuming the LBS didn't install the Kinekt seatpost, so they might not know it's...

Kinekt seat post + Specialized 'Mirror' seat

I guess I meant the saddle not the seatpost. You don't exceed the limit assuming you didn't have over 12 lbs worth of clothing and equipment on. WHAT ARE THE SADDLE WEIGHT LIMITS? Specialized saddles with carbon rails, such as the S-Works Power with Mirror and the Phenom Pro Elaston, have a...
