Hi tech solution to a low tech issue.

Dream away. Sometimes I think that I may be thinking too much about this stuff and then I hear from people like you. Just trying to have fun and protect my ass and re-create some of my boyhood memories without having to be terrified of a really bad set of circumstances. Today’s technology...

Hi tech solution to a low tech issue.

Thanks, that is most helpful. I don’t think I will mind the cluttered cockpit if it is going to help save my ass. So you found that that set up was helpful to you? I just got back into riding again last summer and have lost all of my youthful invincibility complex. The camera I mentioned in...

Hi tech solution to a low tech issue.

Hi and thank you for the suggestion. That is a cool device and I had never heard of that before. It is a bit pricey. I should mention once again that the intention is not to stare at the camera screen, but to intentionally ignore it unless it is necessary to know what is going on behind me...

Hi tech solution to a low tech issue.

Yes Bob, either a separate battery pack in my saddlebags or possibly run off the main battery.

Hi tech solution to a low tech issue.

Your point is well taken. I have an old IPhone 6 that I plan to repurpose and my intention is the occasional glance at a full field of view, and not to get hung up on staring at what’s behind me. It will be interesting to see how it works in practice. I appreciate the mirror suggestion but...

Hi tech solution to a low tech issue.

Hey everyone. This might strike some of you as a bit much but I like to hobby on these kind of things so I would welcome anyone’s constructive input. My paranoia of riding in the street has caused me to want to go a step beyond just rear view mirrors. I find every mirror option inadequate. I...

Any Colt owners, a quick question.

Hey Nick. I have my Colt since July and my experience has been the same. No power issues whatsoever and I love the torque sensor. The stem adjust on the handlebars loosens up rather easily so that’s a bit annoying but I’m going to swap that out. I also did have the chain jump off the gears...

    Belize E bikes??

Omg. I can’t believe how loud that thing is. Thanks again for the heads up I think that the chopper bicycles are cool looking but I would never want to get that frustrated. Going to continue to look for a non-powered chopper cycle and use a conversion kit.

    Micargi Ebike

Having trouble deciding but I have till next spring to agonize over it. I have also looked at the E.G. Monte Carlo but it's kind of pricey for what you get. Court has reviewed it. I also came across this bike which I like a lot http://belizebike.com/english/echopper.html But there is very...

    Micargi Ebike

Hey guys. Thanks for the replies. I just really like the look, a little unhappy there is no throttle. It also does seem kind of heavy. Been looking for an electric chopper style bike and the choices are really limited. I've come across a couple but no compelling "I gotta have that one" yet....

Hi. Court, I would like to ask a question.

    Belize E bikes??

Hey everyone. Does anyone have any experience with this manufacturer? http://belizebike.com/english/echopper.html Pretty cool looking bike but I've never heard of them before. Thanks in advance.

Riding an e-bike in "no-assist" mode - how heavy is ok?

Hey Andrea. Congrats on the bike. I think you will love the Colt, I love mine. My son and I did a 26 mile round trip last weekend but he likes to really lean on the battery. It was pretty close to exhausted after that ride. Good luck and have fun!

Let's see your best pic of your electric bicycle

+1 on the spare battery. I believe I'm going to invest in 1 for both my bikes over the winter. The charge anxiety is making me a little crazy.
