No, I get that. I can't claim to ride an e-bike that is 100% class compliant, but then, it's not materially different than a class 1, 2 or 3 compliant bike for the majority use case. Not sure you could say that about this bike, well, until there is a PAS option.

Maybe I missed it on the website but where are the details regarding PAS? Only references I can seem to find are in this topic. How far in development? What testing has been done, if any? Estimated cost? Commitment to bringing it to completion? ETA?

Just seems odd to me to think about this bike as a commuter. Where would you commute legally on this bike? I guess you could wait for PAS and dial it back to make it class 2 or 3, but more realistically you're looking at licensing it as a motorcycle.

How power hungry is this motor? I assume you went with the 25ah external battery because you're gonna need it, but honestly that frame doesn't do much for me from a looks standpoint. Would be a lot sexier on a monte capro, I realize that's FS and might not have enough battery capacity, but...

That's encouraging to hear. Perhaps I'm assuming too much based on bike chains. I suppose you're able to use a heavier duty chain and also dial in the alignment better which would also help.

That valeo sytstem looks very promising (especially as they seem to be thinking of more than just the eruo market). Too bad at CES 2022 they only seemed to have provided test rides to 2 guys that never had ridden an ebike before, at least that's all the shows up on youtube.

How well has this worked on prototypes paired with rear suspension? I assume the belt needs some sort of tensioner? Also, I recall early protypes of the LMX64 were obnoxiously loud but perhaps they fixed that once they found the right belt drive.
