I have 5 or 6 Suntours and most require the sleeves/bushings. They work fine.

I have the Kona EV (similar size to your Kia) and installed a 1.25 inch hitch at U Haul. Total price including rack was under 300 US. It holds my 1.25" 1 UP Quick Rack which carries my 60 lb ebikes just fine. (one at a time) Tried to post a pic but it appears the attach files is on the fritts...

The Rad and the Aventon don't even belong in the article-they are not mountain bikes. There are so many better e mountain bikes than these listed. Article is weak and clearly a sales pitch for Aventon or Rad...

I don't hate e-bikes or regular bikes for that matter. The riders on the other hand...

Well, my bike hanging project has been scrapped. I got Gravelster out to the garage from the spare bedroom (aka the proshop) and attempted to lift him up to the hook. No way Jose. My garage ceiling is kinda high, so for now. Gravel is chained up to Level 2 in the garage. Seems like there should...

Yeah, I think the Gravelster is about 35 lbs.. I think I will start with a step stool and a helper!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Just coat in with a couple of layers of electrical tape. The video of me trying to hoist Gravel up there could be priceless!

Ok, good tip. So hang from front wheel, and get something soft between the hook and my front wheel? I wonder what I could slip over the metal hook?

What are your thoughts on hanging my Gravelster from the garage ceiling hooks? I'm guessing they were used by the previous owners analog bike? Could it do damage to the battery or electrical system?
