I have mid drive Twist Throttle Raleigh eMTB and the hub drive Thumb Throttle Ebike in my Avatar. They both work the same Little twist/Little push go slow. Big Twist/Full Push go fast and slow/faster speed in between.

Ebike motor on or off, it is still an Ebike.

There could be. I live in Toronto a big city and Police ticket/fine bikers for speed infractions.

That won't matter to who ever is on patrol enforcing the matter. NO ELECTRIC BIKES means no electric bikes.

Why? You ride a a bike all your life then all of sudden there is a ebike with a THROTTLE!!! yEE hAW ... I'm all in no problem.
