so my best option then would be to buy the spokes from grinn and a 40,, rim elsewhere and have someone lace it? Could the gmac motor accomadate that rim , do they have many different spokes to choose? I have always in the past bought the motor already laced
likely the 10T would that be best for primarily road use, 27.5 wheel, 52 v battery , some trails, total weight with bike 220 pounds? Also which pedal sensor is recomended want it to be as smooth as posible
OK I am ordering a GMAC from grinn technology, on their rim options it lists "rim 275_Alex" am I to assume that is a 27.5 rim and they forgot the period between the 7 and 5 or is that another size rim, also will a 2.8 wide tire fit on a 32mm wide rim or should I go with a 2.6"? thanks
so with the GMAC does the regenerative breaking function like on an electric car where when going down a long steep hill you may still need to apply throttle to maintain sufficient speed but the battery is still receiving juice
I have been using hub motors for years, they only add about 7 or 8 pounds of weight, subtract the weight of hat the midrive would add to the rear wheen and it is not significant, if you are 250 pounds vs 150 pounds that has more impact so factor in your body weight if you want to jump curbs...
I am taking delivery next week of rize X, has anyone increased the size of the front chainring to 44 or 46 teeth as the cadence might be too fast for me with the 42 teeth, also is it a 5 bolt chairing, also are the cables long enough in case I need to switch handlebars as I like a more upright...
as far as installing the Jones bar did that give you an upright position and what is your height and did you add the Archon X1 controller from Wattwagons to yours and if not are you happy with the range and smoothness of the torgue sensor?
I am 6' tall and prefer a more upright position (bad back) can the handlebars be adjusted on cc for more upright position, if not is there enough cable lenght so that I could install more swept back handlebars or a stem extension, ready to order
thinking about a Rize X or a biktrix juggernaut with the bafang 750 watt hub motor, will these realistically get the bike to 28 mph or should I go with the 750 watt middrive
