    Presta to Scrader Adapter

Thats how I always fill my road bike tires, with the air compressor. My digital gauge works good on our vehicles. Very accurate. I gotta get me a new pump to carry on my new ebike. The one I had on my road bike is shot.

Yeah I never could get my digital schrader gauge to work on them.

    Presta to Scrader Adapter

No these are different. I've been using what your talking about about for years. They let you air up a presta tube with a regular air chuck but you can't check the pressure with it and you have to take it back off to lock the valve. The ones in the Amazon link convert your tube to Schrader. You...

    Presta to Scrader Adapter

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YYNG81R/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A2JMVK0A65MYQ0&psc=1 Anyone ever use these? Would probably look funny on my road bike tires but my ebike has 2.25 wide tires. Thinking about trying them. I always disliked the prestas.

    Allant headlight blinking

My drive unit is version 1.0.2.0 if I'm looking at it right. So it doesn't have it. It might be next spring before I get back up there. Supposed to get a free tune up the first year.

    Allant headlight blinking

Thanks, I'll check it out. I've only put 28 miles on it so far.

    Allant headlight blinking

Yeah, I asked him about that. He said it did but I don't know if he knew what I was talking about or not. Supposed to be the best dealer in in the area. Near a big city and had the best selection. Seems like a lot of long time dealers are still learning when it comes to the ebikes. I recorded...

    Allant headlight blinking

Thanks, I'll have to give the dealer a call to see if he even knows how to do it. It should have had that option from the factory, especially when they show you how to turn them off and on in the manual.

State Farm 'telling' people 'what are ebikes' (pretty daggone cool for the industry)

Just got off the phone with my State Farm agent about getting a personal articles policy for mine. She didn't know what an ebike was. Supposed to get back with me. It's covered on my homeowner's policy somewhat but subject to the $1000.00 deductible.

Did I read right somewhere on here that you have to request to have the on/off function for the Allant 7? The manual says you can but my headlight/tailight can't be shut off.

Best time of year to buy?

Brought my road bike years ago in November. Got quite a bit off. Spring forward to now. Brought an e-bike yesterday. Dealer only had one left like I wanted in my size. No idea if and when new stock would be in. Bit the bullet and paid list price. I'm used to waiting for a good deal but with this...

Picked my bike up yesterday. The stem was tilted down so I had him flip it over. That made a little difference. I'm going to try it that way for a while. Wouldn't mind seeing a pic of the adjustable ones you guys are using.

I've had pretty good luck with not having flats on my road bike. I've done more on other people's bikes than mine. Never did try a Co2 inflator. Main things are checking inside of tire for what ever caused the flat and not pinching the tube. I put a little air in tube before installing. I need...

What do guys do about potential flats ? I've always just kept a spare tube on my road bike and with the quick release wheels it would be easy to swap one out.

I'm looking at the Allant+ 7S Stagger. They have it in stock. They don't have a low step 7 like yours in stock. Only certain models they can get quick from Trek or have in store. Yeah I noticed the rack on the 8's is useless if you want to set a trunk bag on it.

I just noticed the 7 handle bar looks slightly lower than the 7S if you look at pics on trek website but your 7S looks different. Did you change your stem? Is it just a matter of how many spacers? I just looked at my old road bike. Looks like same type. I remember having them flip it before I...

Sounds pretty good. Most of my rides are 20 miles or less but would like to be able to do at least 40 miles once in a while using more assist on the big hills.

I was wondering about adding an adjustable stem just in case I want a little more upright position. Figure I'll try the stock seat and post to start out.

Nice bike. Quit tempting me like that. What kind of range are you getting?
