Has anyone removed the fenders from their Trek 8s or 9.9s? If so, were there any issues? I don't commute at all, and NEVER ride in the rain, so fenders are not necessary, and I hate the rear rack on this bike anyway. Thoughts?

I agree, for a total package, Specialized is HARD to beat. I love my Trek 8s with the Bosch Gen 4 motor.....but the Vado 4.0 and Vado 4.0 SL are complete packages. The Mission Control app is pure genius in my opinion...no offense to the Giant (I've owned 3) folks, as I loved the latest...

Has anyone figured out a way to mount a trunk bag on the 8s rack? I am going to ask the LBS if they have any suggestions....not a real fan of panniers, I don't commute enough to justify them.
