Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

Anyone remove the bar end plug? I unscrewed and pulled and even used a plastic pry tool but it just doesn't want to go. EDIT: Nevermind, I was able to remove it with some effort.

Mission Control with a Garmin or Wahoo

Using this thread to compare and contrast Mission Control, Wahoo, and Garmin using the eBike sensor on my Specialized Creo. I import everything into Strava. TLDR: Garmin works best when connected to the eBike sensor, and most accurate in moving time, distance, and elevation. NOTE: Everything...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

I have a similar carbon fiber kick stand called the "Corki kick stand" but only for my 18lb analog bike. It also has a holder that attaches to the cup holder but the weight of a 30lb Creo would be a risky endeavour.

Firmware Update on my Vado SL 5.0 caused problems with my Garmin 830...

Does the shop charge for firmware updates? My new Creo also has firmware updates available.

one more time re: Creo. is there a way to change power mode via a Garmin 1030 touch screen?

Agree, about the hazards of having controls so far from the handlebars. If Garmin can support controlling the Creo, I'd quickly make the switch from Wahoo.

Turbo CREO Comp SL - XS (Updated pics)

Sure, coincidentally I took such pictures during last evening's ride.

Creo - Is there a way to record and see percent of ride spent in each mode - eco, sport, turbo?

Wahoo computers do this when connected to sensor "eBike." Ref: https://support.wahoofitness.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012278740-Everything-You-Need-to-Know-About-ELEMNT-LEV-Integration

Turbo CREO Comp SL - XS (Updated pics)

Initial Impression Just picked up this bike in the same Satin Black. Was curious why such an awesome color had most inventory still available online while the other colors were sold out. A hint is noticable in the 1st photo in this thread, and was confirmed when I received my own bike. There...

    Quick-E+

Chiming in, rear factory tire blew out from a paper clip even though the original bike owner put in slime. Made a real mess, slime never again. Bought the "WTB Horizon 650 x 47c Road TCS Tire" off Amazon and had both front and back replaced. Not tubless, but I have a Mt. Tuffy tire liners for...

Turbo Creo owners: is the Creo your only road bike, or do you feel you still love your analog bike(s)?

Do have a Giant Quick E+ since March, but find myself riding my analog Carbon Fiber bike more about 4:1. While the Giant eBike is fun, my body tends to take a beating as the the aluminum frame and lack of compliance transfers road imperfections directly to my body. With the Creo SL Comp Carbon...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

How do you guys get data into Strava? I know you can either connect to your Garmin/Wahoo for the metrics or Mission Control. From what I understand, Mission Control displays heart rate but doesn't import HR data to Strava?

Looks like Wahoo computers also support eBikes from Specialized 2019+ & Giant 2020+. https://support.wahoofitness.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012278740-Everything-You-Need-to-Know-About-ELEMNT-LEV-Integration

Turbo CREO Comp SL - XS (Updated pics)

Cool thread, she's a beauty. Seriously thinking of getting the Creo Comp SL in a small or XS. Have a Giant Quick E+ and while I love it, it's just too heavy to carry up to my 2nd story apartment. Plus, with it being heavy it's not nimble nor is the stiff aluminum very comfortable over long rides.

    Fastroad E - EX PRO

When I was shopping around between a new Fastroad or a used local seller of a Quick E+, I asked the online chat at the Bicyclewarehouse website. TLDR: The Fastroad is supposed to be an upgrade to the discontinued Quick E+. Noticable differences are Kendra tires, Tiagra gearset and less range...

Reason(s) for the harsh Vado ride

Found this thread searching "harsh," since my carbon road bike is so much more comfortable than my Giant eBike. This info helped explain a lot.

    Quick-E+

Received the chain guide from Amazon. Instead of removing the pant guard, I modified the chain guard by removing one side and it seems to work well. Will report if it continues to drop but it looks like a solid fit.

    Quick-E+

Since getting my used E+ in March 2020, had my first chain drop riding over some bumpy countryside roads in the middle of nowhere. Had a hellova time getting the chain back on track since the chain got stuck under the middrive plastic bulge for screw mount. Took about 15 minutes and a really...

    Giant Ebike Life Expectancy

In the big Giant E+ thread, alasdair posted a Sep 19, 2019 update of his 2017 model for 2+ years with 12k miles of heavy use. I think he has got his value from the eBike over using a car. TLDR: Chain was changed 4x and cassete twice. Tires last about 3k miles. Break pad change every 2k...
