Thanks, makes sense since I often hear many having them made to order.

Creo SL Comp upgrade to Carbon wheelset

I have the base Creo SL Comp with the alloy DT Swiss wheelset. Looking to upgrade to Carbon Fiber wheels and wanted to know if there are any sizing differences from standard bikes. Could've sworn there might be issues with sizing or spacers might be required? Thinkig of getting these Reynolds...

Garmin Edge (or Wahoo Elemnt Roam) and Specialized Turbo e-bikes [RESOLVED]

A dedicated computer is recommended, if only because, you don't want your phone in a vulnerable area in front of your bike in case of an emergency/crash and also battery life has been a problem. Also, one thing I noticed is the average MPH is more accurate with a Garmin 530 since the...

Turbo Creo Comp Carbon SL rattle on rough roads

As for removing slack, in the huge Creo thread there was someone that said the splitter cable (one you can use for a light or remote) can often knock against the downtube so it was fixed by taping to loose cable with electrical tape. I was also getting a rattle what sounded like it was from the...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

Any ideas on my chainring having a little give when rocking back and forth? Tight bolts for the spider, and also tight for the 1 little bolt between the chain ring and spider. When I ride over bumps, the area rattles.

Specialized Creo SL Expert versus Giant Road-e Pro?

My first eBike was the Giant Quick+ E with the main difference with the Road e being fenders and drop bar. My second eBike was the Creo just purchased late last year. Aside from the power, which has been discussed prior in this thread is the feel of aluminum vs. carbon. Often, my hands and...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

Anybody know if this metal washer belongs to the Creo and where it would go? I had my rear tire serviced for a flat and when I got the bike back, the washer was stuck to the magnetic portion of the outside rear hub.

    What is Error Code 144?

Hi guys, I am also getting Error 144 but I haven't brought it to the shop for any firmware updates. For me, this happens at the highest assist mode, when using lots of torque and usually when the battery is down to less than 1/3 capacity. Never had it happen when the battery is above 75%. I...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

Multiple reviews on amazon say they have had success reusing the SRAM PowerLocks. I don't think any manufacturer would put reusable in writing though, and would suggest one time use

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

Surprised these Creo bikes don't come with chains that have quicklinks. In case anyone wants to put in a quicklink for easier chain maintenance, went with SRAM version that they dub the "SRAM PowerLock" which is compatible with these Shimano chains per the Amazon reviews.

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

I have most records in my area since I set my rides to "eBike" instead of "ride" for the analog bike riders. What's interesting is that in my area, there are so many strong riders that they beat my eBike speeds. Crazy. Advisory: If you switch to eBike, most segments will disappear and will...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

My bike fell over and the deraileur hanger bent inward. Anybody know the part number for the for the Specialized Creo rear derailleur hanger. My mechanic said to order a few to have spares for next time it happens.

    Specialized - Spec'd Chain Lube?

Yep, Finish Line is probably one of the highest regarded chain lubes. I lube usually every 50-100 miles, I'm in Southern California so I use Finish Line's Dry lube lube.

    Creo SL 1x Chainguide?

Me neither, but I've experienced it on my Giant eBike and it's the worst! Did get a chain guide from Amazon for the Giant, and in the Giant forum one innovative fellow used the motor mount and shaped his own DIY chain guide attached via the bolts for the motor mount. So, if that ever becomes a...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

Since I hate changing tires on the side of the road, usually I put in tire liners right away after getting a new bike but I let this Creo SL slide for a bit. Wanted to see what local eKOMs I could break before potentially slowing down the rolling resistance with tire liners. Did another ride...

From what I gather, the calories are calculated based on the total output from the power meter, regardless of assist mode.

Got a well rated luggage scale and weighed my base carbon model "Creo SL Comp Carbon." Weight additions from factory include SPD pedals for MTB, carbon fiber bottle cages and garmin front mount. Only removals were the clear cassette disc on the rear wheel. 13.12 kg (28.9 lbs)

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

Yea probably the low entry price for the aluminum models. The guy said he got it used for 3k, then did a gravel conversion including tubeless and GRX Di2 resulting in a 33lbs bike. It's probably still under the price of the lowest aluminum Creo model.
