Truly don't blame ya a bit with the ticks, this is probably the first summer not knowingly having one on me,, and why do you think they end up on you neck and never felt the hour it takes to get there?? Well I discovered the secrete by accident weed whipping industrial nonsense behind the...
Reported E Bikes that fell off racks -
for the simply reason stated earlier of not using secure tie downs.

I'd never head down the road without these straps making load 100% secure.
E Bikes are not 25lb item as bicycle on a rack until fully secured for travel secured solid.
If grabbing any point and bike can move at all independent of rack, then these cargo straps are a must as used for securing...
I need to look closer on that bit of chain tech as well.
Seems I noticed side plates were special tweaked to walk sideways.
Wish that was a tech item bubble when hovering over it for more details.
But this search was a worthy good start -...
Just from many years of tech servicing motorcycles.
Nothings changed since chain was invented.

Standard motorcycle chain. Obviously bike chain's durability is quite limited.
For example - best chain made, well maintained lasts 5000 miles...
Boy, Do I like this Build @!
What a Great Job putting this all together,, where I'm just South of Canadian border,
right where Canada dumps everything into Minnesota, and we love it.
The 45 below zero stuff,, not so much.
Cheers
I'd replace the chain - it's noted GOOD - but if certain tests were done - it's more than likely stretched
to the point, that it no long fits the pitch of the sprockets, and more than likely will crawl off.
The easiest test is wrap the chain around the sprocket almost full circle tight as...
After many Years as tech at Motorcycle shops - this clever cable lube tool has been the standard since
early 70's. I'd be surprised if bike shops didn't have version to fit the smaller cable housings.
A good Teflon lube with spray tube attached enters rubber grommet and then gets clamped down
on...
Thank You Hugely @!
Great Tips and concept of options.
Cheers
On the topic of - [Please excuse the vulgarity and personal attack posts in this thread. The forum is mostly civil with a lot of good folks providing useful information.]
No Worries - I'm pretty used to it, and some will express it...
Certainly, that was my thought as well, going inside and see who's blocking
the path with an all out open circuit, to where maybe it's just one cell causing it.
Hopefully it's not a glued up assembly where the case is bonded to battery pack.
Cheers
Thanks Captain,, I was sure I hit the Mother load of E/Bike Mayhem EXTRAordinaire.
Truly can't wait to getting at it building one. Or maybe a used one for now.
So if they don't have throttle -
is this where power level set [1-5] simply takes over sensing pedal input?
So much tech to take in...
Spot On - Now I'm totally confused - Obviously I know what a throttle is [ thumb or twist grip]
Am I to assume by this posting, some bikes don't have them now? When it was assumed they all did.
[For newbies to get another perspective if they do a search for throttles]
Have only test ridden a...
