    New Bike Day!!!

The fork is an MRP I believe. Pedals are the old school rat trap but a much higher quality.

    New Bike Day!!!

Actually it was yesterday but I’m just getting around to posting. I wasn’t planning on buying one of these but I’ve been wanting one for a while now. When Vintage updated their bikes to 72V I wanted one even more. So when I entered a drawing for $1000.00 off one and won it pushed me over the...

Undertaking legal actions against Watt Wagons

I’m not calling anyone out. All I said was if it were me I wouldn’t post I did it on a public forum.

Undertaking legal actions against Watt Wagons

I wouldn’t have announced it on a public forum either. I would have just done it and kept it to myself.

Undertaking legal actions against Watt Wagons

Not sure what your trying to accomplish with this post. I understand why you feel the need to take legal action but putting it on here doesn’t help the situation any more. Just do what you feel is necessary.

Watt Wagons Critical Product Availability Status

What’s your opinion of Carver TI frames? I’m going to do a regular bike build with their All Road frame. They do custom stuff so I’m curious to see if they would do an ebike frame.

Lessons Learned After Owning A Fat Hydra’s For A While

Rear tire width. Looks bad a** If I had to do it all over again I get 27.5 x 85 Nextie Mags with a 27.5X3.8 tire.

Lessons Learned After Owning A Fat Hydra’s For A While

Tires are Maxxis Colossus 26X4.8. Something like a Surley Edna 26X4.3 might work but I haven’t tried them.

Lessons Learned After Owning A Fat Hydra’s For A While

Here’s what I’m talking about with the 90mm wide Nextie’s. On the tallest two cogs of the cassette the chain rubs the tire.

I‘m going to build a Carver TI Allroad as my exercise bike (no motor).

Watt Wagons Critical Product Availability Status

That’s the problem. Getting anything from China nowadays is difficult. I’d love to see WW move the frame production to the USA. I bought a Vintage Electric Scrambler and it shipped within a week of me placing my order.

Lessons Learned After Owning A Fat Hydra’s For A While

IMO the sweet setup for the Fat Hydra are 27.5 X 80mm wheels and 27.5X3.8 tires.

Lessons Learned After Owning A Fat Hydra’s For A While

After owning my Fat Hydra for a while I thought I’d share some of the things that work and don’t work on the bike. 1. Super wide wheels don’t work well. Stick with an 80mm wide rim to be able to use all the gears on your cassette. I have 90mm Nextie Carbon Mags with a 26X4.8 tire the chain rubs...

What derailleur is on the bike? On both of my Hydra bikes I changed the chain to a 11spd KMC Ebike chain. Much better quality and a lot stronger. Also check the tension on the chain. Has to be tight enough so it stays on the cogs.

Watt Wagons Critical Product Availability Status

My two Watt Wagons Hydra’s. Both bikes have performed flawlessly. Only had to replace a defective Magura rear brake which was replaced by Magura no questions asked. I know the delivery times for the bikes are exceptionally long now but if you can be patient it will be worth the wait.

I’d give them a call. My impression is they only deal with manufacturers and not individual retail customers. You could try requesting from WW that they use this shipping method.
