    Hello

Wow. So sorry about your injury, but you seem to be making fantastic progress if you have over 1500 miles on your bike since December! I hope the bike is helping. Keep us in the loop about your adventures. TT

Tell us more about where you ride, especially when you go off road. That can mean a lot of things. TT

    Issues with brand new ebike

Since it's a new bike, I'd try to get the dealer or the manufacturer to replace the wheel, or at least have it rebuilt by a qualified mechanic. Your broken spoke is most likely due to the original problem with the wheel but it could have been caused by whoever tuned it when you took it in. I'm...

90 miles per charge. Too good to be true?

Then no, you won't get close to 90 miles. If, on the other hand, you turn off the power and use nothing but human power, the range is unlimited except by your endurance. The company probably tested (if they tested at all) using something closer to the low end of battery assist. Well, they...

    Tube vs. Tubeless on ebikes

That all makes sense. Thanks for that perspective. Maybe I've been lucky and have had few cases that required intervention with my tubes. And apparently I'm one of the exceedingly rare people who don't freak out about patching a tube on while on a ride. If it happened to me more often I...

    Tube vs. Tubeless on ebikes

So, if we're going to make up scenarios that could happen in some alternative universe or other, could you run over a broken Coke bottle bottom that might rip or tear your tubeless tire? I'm certain there are situations that will defeat just about any flat preventative man has come up with so...

    Tube vs. Tubeless on ebikes

I suppose I should have spelled out that if a piece of wire had punctured a tubed tire filled with a proper dose of sealant, and had been pulled out, there's no reason not to expect the exact same results Tom had with his tubeless tire. It's not a question of yay tubeless it's yay sealant. TT

    Hello

Hello from Music City. I don't think I was aware of front duallies on a bike before. I read up a little on the Rungu site and understand the reasoning for them now. Are you mostly riding off-road? 1500 miles is pretty good for 6 months! TT

    Tube vs. Tubeless on ebikes

The exact same thing would have happened with a tubed tire dosed with Slime or FlatOut. or Stan's, if it has a formulation for tubes. TT

    Can't remove TREK ALLANT tire!

How do you tell them apart? I have no tubeless tires and no Presta valves. What is it about the OP's picture that indicates his tire has a tube? Genuine question. And since it's already a point of discussion, I agree with the others that there was no reason for the all caps and bold...

    Digital Torque Wrench

Yeah, maybe. Or maybe you get it calibrated or check it against another torque wrench. They're generally going to be at least as accurate as guessing. But, like I said, I don't think they're needed for a lot of regular stuff. At least one of my torque wrenches has about a 6-inch handle...

    Digital Torque Wrench

I dunno. A lot of people are heavy-handed. If you have a torque wrench, why not use it? But I have torque wrenches and don't use them most of the time. There are times when they're worth breaking out though. And if I didn't already have about all the torque tools I need, I might use a new...

Using Flat Out in smaller tires questions

The thing about sealants is that they can prevent flats. Who knows what percentage of the time, but many times you'll have a puncture and not know it because FlatOut, or whatever, seals the leak. You never even know. The serious punctures you're talking about, that need human intercession...

Using Flat Out in smaller tires questions

Maybe just anecdotal, but I've found that having broken a tough bead once, it's a lot easier to break the next time. TT

Using Flat Out in smaller tires questions

It can happen, but it's not common. Gravity usually directs the stuff elsewhere. And if a valve does get clogged, it will often just blow out. Worst case, remove the valve core and wash it or replace it. TT

Using Flat Out in smaller tires questions

I can't speak to some of your specifics, and I use Slime, but FlatOut seems to be a great product. I don't see why high pressures would be a problem and I don't see anything on FlatOut's website that says it only works below X PSI. I would certainly use it, or another tire sealant, regardless...

    Shimano E6100 average speed calculation

You might need to adjust the circumference of your tires in your controller. Or, it may be that your bike is only calculating moving time, not overall time. As you say, it's probably not a big enough deal to worry about a lot. If either of my ideas apply you will probably not ever get a...
