    Just for fun...

FWIW, beans and peas are the rocket fuel in my corner of the world :) Like, pea soup or baked beans in tomato (a.k.a Beans a'la Bretagne) :)

    Tubeless Blues

I just want to mention a fat bike rim with cut-outs easily holds a thin TPU tube so why shouldn't it hold a good rim tape?

    Tubeless Blues

A fat bike rim is huge. If it were solid then it would weigh (figuratively speaking) tons :) Therefore, a fat bike rim has trapezoidal cut-outs to reduce the weight.

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

I have had enough trouble to find good organic compatible pads.... SwissStop Disc 34E serve my purposes well. I do not need to do it but whenever that would be necessary, your good inexpensive automotive brake cleaner is the thing :)

Is $800 a reasonable price for a beginner ebike?

$800 for an e-bike is a scrap metal price. Fire insurance might be more expensive than that.

    Tubeless Blues

Another Victim of Tubeless This guy only rides pedal fat bikes. The rims are TR, the tyres are TR (3.7" Maxxis Minion FBF and FBR). The man used an LBS and spent an equivalent of US$80 for installing the tubeless. He didn't ride very long... While a TPU tube is five times less expensive!

2 piston vs 4 piston brake pad lifespan.

Just for clarity, Gionni Eejit as a known forum troll has been Ignored by me a long time ago, and I'm not interested what he wrote. I recommend doing the same.

You wanted to spend some money, so... As you say your Trance has no display. Garmin has crash detection, which is sent to the world via your Pixel. E-bike display, GPS navigation, ride recording. Ridecontrol Dash is just a display, and I can bet it is vulnerable to water ingress... Garmin has...

Brakes levers stopping motor? How to fix?

I suggest responding to current threads only. Reviving old threads only makes sense if a user was met by a similar issue as described in the old thread and wants more information.

2 piston vs 4 piston brake pad lifespan.

I doubt if your information is as useful as you think. It is a bad practice to revive old threads. Both Kraner and Rome were seen in the Forums over a year ago. If you want to participate, please take part in current threads.

Two and half years late. It is actually called necroposting. This thread is dead since 2023. Are you seeking popularity by digging graves, @Shifty Shane?

Guys, do you realise what Shifty Shane is doing in the Forum is called necroposting? Answering threads long dead. (You could check the post dates).

Allan, turned out the problematic RE has recovered. Only I pay a great attention when using (and especially charging) it.

Certainly, certainly. Had I no Specialized e-bike, I would be totally happy with my Lovelec. Pictured: My brother Jacek in early 2020 when I only owned the Lovelec and the big Vado :)
