    “No e-bikes allowed”

It sounds like many have negative riding experiences with vehicles; I never have. In our younger riding days we stayed off most US and state highways, traveled mostly on county roads. Road biking experience is limited to IA, IL, NY; miles of "back roads" in all directions. Grab a Gazetteer or...

    “No e-bikes allowed”

Carrying enough solar to make a difference will probably be nearly canceled out by weight and added drag; unless you plan to park for a bunch of time. We designed support for distance riding with a van with 440 watts of panels on the roof and 400 AHr of batteries inside. 2 couples; 3 riding, 1...

    Do you ride with someone?

We never ride alone. I can't imagine a case that towing would be the best/only solution.

Charging port cover - won't seat

Less than perfect design. I've found when closing the cover, it doesn't, doesn't, doesn't close and with no noticeable change in technique, it does. Frustrating!

An elderly couple 👵👴 walked into a McDonald’s and sat down at a table near some young people who were having dinner. The old man approached the counter and placed an order for one meal. He returned, unwrapped the hamburger, carefully cut it in half, and placed one half in front of his wife...

    Gazelle Ultimate C380 HMB

We have C380s and really like them. It's been 5 years so my memory is now 5 years older. The LBS didn't have a C380, but had a T10, which I recall is the same geometry as a C380 (only really difference I recall is IGH vs derailleur) so judging fit using T10 should be a good test; unless...

Interesting. I checked: 8 National Holidays in UK (11 in US, not all are paid holidays for everyone though; the company I worked for had (as I recall 14) plus I retired with 36 days additional vacation days). The other vary by employer allowed vacation days? Always interested in reading about...

More timely yesterday; still fun (to some) though.

    Goodbye to biking

Correct, i don't know of a "give me more bpm when I exercise" pacer. I thought I read you had a low resting rate at night. My resting is currently low 50s, during the winter in hangs around low 40s. Upper limit, regardless of exercise is 128 (meds), which is fine for me these days. When I go...

    Goodbye to biking

Perhaps check, rather than speculate. My Cardiologists and my brother (a cardiologist) told me I have a pacer in my future. My mom got one at 85, pretty sure on Medicare's dime. If your cardiologist shows it is "medically necessary" it should be covered.

    Back to the bike shop

I played saxaphone in the school jazz band 55 years ago. The hot blonde next to me was better (at saxaphone.) Now I just play the radio.
