I have the bike you're considering, and I'm 5'8" w/29.5-in inseam. I have just enough standover clearance to be comfortable riding (and straddling) it on paved surfaces. If it were a mountain bike, I'd want a bit more clearance.

Thanks, @WaxedWookie, for taking the time to share your experience and assessment of WW and Pushkar’s business practices and handling of another of his customers. I’m sorry to hear (but not surprised) that the mistreatments extend beyond the founders.

There is no threat from me. I stated the facts. As you said, "this is the reality". This is the only threat I see (in your response to potential legal actions against you):

Look for any ebike with a torque sensor. How fast you go will be proportional to how much effort you put in with your pedaling. You will not go 20 mph unless you yourself are pedaling fast/hard enough to go that fast.

I shall be pursuing a similar action on May 23, which is beyond the 30-day period allowed for Watt Wagons to respond to my official demand letter. At that time they'll be subject to triple damages, attorney's fees, interests, and other costs.
