Headlights - Any compatible wire-in options available?

For a lot of people the Lumotec IQ Fly E will work very well and it accepts 6 to 42 volts. The Peak and the Dash come with built-in converters and dedicated 6 volt output so it will work with those bikes as well.

    dashin Tampa!

For the Dash E3 you use just the regular (not disk brake) version. That has all been posted about with pictures on another recent thread.

The Future for Ebikes According to Edward Benjamin

The idea of vehicles talking to each other to avoid collisions may seem some sort of futuristic vision but it is already here and available, I have it myself. It's called FLARM in Europe and PowerFlarm in the US and is installed in gliders to help prevent them from running into each other...

    dashin Tampa!

I assume you've read the recent posts about Dash fenders and racks. To expand, if you want the bags the cool kids are using, check out these. I almost got them but I prefer being able to stow the panniers into the top bag like the Topeak and and the quick-disconnect to slide them off...

    Outfitting the Dash E3 (minimum)

Thanks for the part numbers. I see you want a tube with a Schrader valve to replace the Presta you have now. Will the larger valve fit?

The Dash has restored my biking enthusiasm

Recap: So my bike was busted, 5 hours later I tried again, same issue as post 15 above. I took the display apart to check the connections, looked at the diagnostic screen and pretty much didn't do anything, today I put in a 25 mile commute and it was trouble free and too much fun.

The Dash has restored my biking enthusiasm

Today at 160 total miles my Dash went down. On starting there was no assist, after some fooling around with the setting I got it back, then nothing again, so I gave it full throttle and the screen showed a large E then went back to normal except for a spanner wrench symbol in the upper right...

    Outfitting the Dash E3 (minimum)

If you look around here you will see the situation with those tires. I have had some interaction with Izip/Currie and it has been 100% positive and very fast. They went out into the factory floor and took photos etc. twice in a few hours during my exchange of emails with them.

I responded to your question about rack and fender mounting in another thread.

    E3 Dash Fenders

In another thread I was asked about mounting both the rack and the fenders and if there is a conflict, so I am answering that here and linking back to it to keep the information in one place. There are two mounting holes (different thread sizes) and the easy way is to install the rack in the...

    Outfitting the Dash E3 (minimum)

Fenders and rack: I assume you have seen the recent posts about the Planet Bike Cascadia 29er Black Fenders and the Topeak Explorer or Super-tourist racks and the Topeak MTX slide-on bags with deployable panniers. That's a great option and there are others. Light: I use a Cygolite Metro 360...

    E3 Dash Fenders

Thanks Charly for the recommend, I installed those fenders on my bike Friday night and it all went well. I made a couple changes to your installation protocol. First, I installed the bracket backwards and below the seat stay mount instead of using a spacer. Second, at the forks I backed out...

Sun Tour NCX SP-12 Suspended Seatpost on my Dash

Charly, thanks again for the recommend on the fenders, I put mine on last night and will post back to that thread with a couple alternate mounting ideas. But now I want this seatpost, where did you find it? Google is not being my friend today.

Bosch Gepida Ruga 1000 Review [Australia]

Andrew, a question I have about E-bike batteries is their amp hour and thus watt hour ratings. Is there any standards for measuring this? How do you determine the accuracy of the capacity claims being made?

Will schwalbe big Bens tires work 4 ezip dash?

I don't know if they come in colors, they come in pastels. I would want a red tire if I was going for color on a Dash. Then I would name it Stendahl. The Red and the Black, Stendhal’s masterpiece, is the story of Julien Sorel, a young dreamer from the provinces, fueled by Napoleonic ideals...

Headlights - Any compatible wire-in options available?

Hi Wilco, The guys at Peter White Cycles have a Busch & Muller dynamo light that you could wire in. Not the most affordable option but great looking and high quality.
