SOLD!! Ortlieb, Sport-Roller, City Panier Pair For Sale $60 SOLD!!

I'm selling a pair of Ortlieb, Sport-Roller, City Paniers. I purchased them last month for my new bike, based on all of the good reviews they have received here. They just weren't what I had in mind. The quality is superb and they'll never leak, maybe it's the color, but they just don't feel...

My E-bike wobbles at all times

You also need a good hand/foot pump with a gauge. I check my tire pressure weekly. Air actually leaks through the tube material. If you use a CO2 cartridge it can leak out even faster (smaller molecules). I blew a tire once filling it at a gas station. I like to use my little hand pump...

Christini AWD Fat-E 5 Ultra Max

A beautiful piece of equipment. I wonder how it does on an incline? Looks like it's pretty much limited to level terrain.

Best Clipless Shoes For Cycling & Walking?

What is it with bicycle shoes and the lack of availability of anything in a wide size? I think it has to something to do with a need to look fast. Wide shoes look clunky and slow. It's the Cinderella complex.

This is one of my favorite seats. You gotta watch out though or it will bite you in the @$$.

2019 : Our Rides in Words, Photos & Maps

Only about a dozen rides so far but as a life long cyclist and someone who apreciates a well built bike, they seem to be a terrific bike for just about anything short of stump jumping. I want to try them on some old logging roads and see how they handle that. I can test my recently acquired...

    My new ebike

As and office ergonomist with 20 years experience, I have found that every butt is different. I have solved very serious seating issues with cheap, low end, minimally ergonomic chairs and yet had to go to very expensive chairs on other problems that seemed much less serious. One client...

    E-bike Battery Charging Experience

I am considering making a simple rack in my laundry room for our chargers and batteries. During the winter months, we bring them inside and it would be handy to have a rack for everything to kept it up, out of the way. Other than that I wouldn't make any changes.

    My new ebike

It's hard to tell much about a seat from a picture but off hand I'd say they didn't put a lot of money into the design, other than to make it look good. That said, everyone is different and even an inexpensive seat can be comfortable in the right situation, for the right person. I'm 205, 6'3"...

No one would believe me if I didn't take pics...

Sounds like my father. He gave us his car at 75 and rode a bike until he was 90. At 80, with both hips just replaced, he spent a year riding through Europe. What made me think of people who had lost their lisence was a trip I took on my road bike. I was in Redding, California and saw an...

Interesting, I'd guess he lost his lisence to drive a car.

    My new ebike

Very nice! What's with those Dutch and front wheel motors? Don't change out your seat too fast. A seemingly hard seat can be very comfortable. I have found it's not so much the cush but the support it gives. My main ride has a seat that is similar to yours. Seat discomfort is more often...

Respectfully, and no negative inference intended but those were my thoughts exactly.

    E-bike Battery Charging Experience

Yeah I agree, I can't imagine it being much simpler than it already is. Maybe on some bikes it's harder but on my Cannondale its a breeze.

"No fair." In so many ways!

After a long ride on my e-bike I like to relax on the porch, in my rocking chair, with the dog at my feet. Maybe when I'm 90 I can get an e-rocker

    Topping off a battery.

Great, that's exactly what I wanted to know. I will sleep and ride more easily now.

    Topping off a battery.

I tried posting this in "Parts and Accessories" but only got one answer. Though I'd try it here. I'm looking for some knowledgable input on topping up a battery just prior to riding. "I have been reading up on battery care and for the most part I don't think I want to spend too much time...

I wonder if there were these kind of issues when they invented the Horseless Carrage?

Harm of topping off a battery prior to riding?

I have been reading up on battery care and for the most part I don't think I want to spend too much time worrying about it. I do however want to do what I can, within reason, to help prolong the life of my battery. I do a few things now that are fairly simple, like not leaving it out in the...
