    Legit bike, or a scam?

I'm with George... appears to be a really heavy bike and it will probably handle squirrelly... try riding it... Is there any way to mount the battery more forward.... similar to the Steaths??

Sondors Fact Finding. Due Diligence. Scrutiny.

Court, Fill us in again, what happened with the "Australian" Storms? Just be clear, you ordered the "the new design Sondors, $499+ 194 sh. + 70 s forks+ 85 big battery = $848 And you are ordering the LCD separately? And do you have any idea of a delivery date? I emailed Storm about...

FJ, Looks like a great ride.. Just curious... is your Norwegian battery built to the same specs. as the original?? If it is then if your Strava app is close with the ave 264w power used... over the 2:17 equals 12.444 amp/hrs (11.6 Ah listed by RR) so our power meters might not be very...

Thanks... I was wondering how many miles it takes to drop a bar... 22-23 cruising speed is impressive... what psi are you running... I assume you're on pavement commuting?? When I run 19f 21 r the ride is pretty harsh.. unless the surface is really smooth.. I have new road tires I'm...

Mozo, USA makes/markets the forks... they're entry level... very heavy... and their usamozo.com website doesn't work... I did find a warning label on the bottom tube of the fork... it reads, in part "USE ONLY FOR: Leisure cross country.... Do not use for hard riding...." basically...

FJ, I think the threads can be "cleaned up" it looks like the soft aluminum dropout is ground into the threads.. The inside retainer nut needs to come off... I think that nut failed... A machine shop should be able to replace it...maybe with something broader... this may be a weak link on...

Fj, Looks like you've "stripped" the threads on the axle...ouch... the threads on the nut may have been poorly cut... and it looks like the inside nut is "cross-threaded" ... damn ! Did they try a better grade of nut and hopefully they have "sized metric" (should be an 18mm) wrenches in...

P, On my bikes ... to unlock the forks it only takes a 1/4 turn counter clockwise.. less than the pressure to open a twist cap on a beer.. or soda.. Hope you didn't hurt your hand on the bike assembly... Also, it looks like you need more air those tires... I think they call the locking cap...

P, Pretty exciting, you'll be glad you stuck with it... Do you have the battery ready to go? I have only beens on 3 short rides, the last one under 10 miles of mild hilly pavement, hardpack and loose gravel and sand... (We had to cut it short after my wife had a slow speed uphill fall...

M, Also, it looks like Court is calling the RR motor a 500w cont./750w peak (Hangtai / 35 Newton meters) So it is basically the same size motor as your Volton Alation 500... I am a bit confused... the controller can deliver 15 amps continuously/ 22 amps peak... or 15a x 48v =720w and tops...

M, What tire pressure are you running? For my 1st street ride, I tried 12r 10f and was disappointed also... So bummed it to 20r 18f and it rolled a lot better... I still was expecting more from 22amps peak or 1056 watts... but I have nothing to compare too... except another batch 2 RR...

Just curious, there should be around 100 RR's out there soon... Are people happy with there rides, based on the tires only? I just ordered 2 Vee Tire Speedster 26x 3.5 black wire (only $100 for 2 on Amazon)... I hated to give up the 1/2" in width, but that's the sacrifice for lower rolling...

Christopher, I believe those tires are on a 20" Mongoose Massiff... the Dolomite comes with heavy cheap generic 6 1/2 lb. center bead knobby tires.. The Bridgestone supermotto motorcycle tires are great for a couple hundred bucks... The Kendas are really suffering on our gravely paved roads of...

I saw those. Fat-Bike.com did a review on them... they liked them for their speed and smoothness... I noticed they tend to fill up with small pebbles and sand... not sure if it's a problem... These Maxxis Mammoths look promising... http://www.maxxis.com
