Rearview Bike Cams- A non technical review

Wow, that's a major setup. He's taking bike cams to a whole new level. Never seen so much video gear on a non commercial bike. I'm just looking for a small lense hood to block the sun glare. All I find are too big.

But then, I don't ride on rainy days. My side mirror works good as backup.

Rearview Bike Cams- A non technical review

Last year I added a rearview bike cam for more safety. Here is my short review: Good: On overcast days or at night they work great. They have night vision. Bad: on sunny days forget it. The glare is bad. I use my side mirror on sunny days. If you get one, get the non-fisheye type lense and be...

Glad you guys worked it out. Way too much anger and road rage happening out there. Cooler heads prevail.

And for no real reason. So much easier to be friendly when meeting other bikers out there.

Nice. I miss it. Grew up in SF and surfed in the cold fog, and biked the monster city streets on a 1 speed. Love to ride PCH on my ebike.

Good on you my friend. Biking puts me in a really good mood and I just don't know why anyone would not wave or smile back. These things are fun machines, especially for us old timers. lol

Why Roadies Don't Smile-funny article I just read

Love it. I just went for a ride today and smiled and waved at 4 different roadies. None smiled or waved back. Maybe it's because I'm on an ebike or because it's also a mtb or both. Kinda rude. I do stop and help any other bikers with a problem. To me this is all about fun and relaxation. Not a...

Why Roadies Don't Smile-funny article I just read

Tomorrow morning I’ll hit the tracks with my buddies. We don’t spend much time on the bitumen but when we do I always smile and way at every other bike rider. I always have. I’ve made more friends this way than I can remember but sometimes my intentions aren’t entirely pure. I usually get a...

    Bad battery or safety feature?

Just got my new one from them today along with the Seagull back rack. It charged just fine and I'm taking it along with the backup battery on a long ride in a few days. The batteries need to be used to balance the cells. Hopefully you can do the same soon. That snow should melt soon. Ecotric...

E-Bike Batteries Are Catching on Fire Way Too Often And delivery workers are demanding safe charging stations.

Any dielectric grease will work just fine. Didn't think Petaluma was close enough to the sea for much salt corrosion. I used to live nearby in Santa Rosa and never noticed the sea air.

Just bought this battery bag to carry an extra battery. Supposed to be explosion/fireproof. https://zeeebattery.com/products/zeee-ebike-battery-fireproof-charging-bag

Just another scare tactic. I grew up in San Francisco. Salt air all around, 27/7. I had many bikes, cars, and cycles. Corrosion from salt air happens when you neglect the vehicle. It happens with anything metal. When you live at the coast, you know all this. You learn to wash the sea air off...

    Ebike Has 300 Mile Range

That's what I was thinking. Mine weighs about that with just 1 battery! And for 18k you would think they could throw in fenders and lights.

Not hardly. Read the info posted. Their inspections are intense and precise. They are the best you can hope for. After that seal goes on you're on you're own. As it should be for all responsible motorized vehicle operators. Some folks actually abuse the bikes and batteries. Can you believe it? lol
