Hello from Everywhere! Friends and Visits?

Yea, they have many models. Me and my girfriend both have them and they seem to be well made. No big problems so far. Been riding them for three years now. I have the Seagull. She has the Leopard. Both have front suspension. Good bang for the buck!

Recommended air pump to carry on bike

The Schwalbe Pickup will be my next set. I don't ride year around, just during Spring and Summer. I also don't ride off road. These Big Ben Plus have made it 3 years now with no flats but time to upgrade. Option 2, if Slime won't seal it, get to the closest street and call Triple A. They tow...

Hello from Everywhere! Friends and Visits?

I got my Ecotric 1000 watt ebike for $1200.00. With better tires and some other additions like seat suspension and better seat etc. it's been a real winner for me. Check them out. Free shipping from Oakland Cal.!

Recommended air pump to carry on bike

I tried liners on the original tires but still got a flat when the liner shifted. I threw out those tires and went with Schwalbe tires with Green gaurd. These tires are so worth the $50.00 price. No more flats and they wear so little. Still have lots of tread. Great tires. I carry Slime and co2...

Recommended air pump to carry on bike

Why not buy lined tires and the flat problem becomes a very minor problem. I've had Schwalbe Big Bens on for 3 years. Not one flat!

    Lights Save Lives

Not sure on Europe laws but strobes should be outlawed. No need for that blinding intensity. Flash is much easier on the eyes and safer, but not to use at night. I used to have a helmet light but saw no need unless riding at night, which I only do a few times a year during summer. The Cygolites...

    Lights Save Lives

I got rid of lights with strobe. Way too annoying to oncoming bike and auto traffic. Too blinding, especially at night. Most good bike lights don't have them or replaceable batteries anymore. I use three Cygolites up front. During daytime, just one is on, at slow flash. At night all three are on...

    Lights Save Lives

Yes, they are good side lights. Steady on or flash. Not blinding and easy for cars to see at a 4 way stop.

Saddle pressure, numbness, and maintaining sexual health at 59

Cane Creek seat post suspension and a Cloud 9 gel saddle. Ride free from road pain. It makes the long 25-35 mile ride fun and not an endurance test.

Total e-bike ban after a fatality in Key Biscayne, FLA

And new laws are coming on that. To see kids blasting along on escooters or one wheels that can do 50 mph is nuts. Because parents allow them to have them, the government will be forced to regulate them. Why is it ok for a 12 year old to be on an electric powered scooter or ebike but he needs a...

Total e-bike ban after a fatality in Key Biscayne, FLA

A 12 year old dosen't even need to be riding anything with a motor on the roads. They need to build up muscle by peddling. To ride quads off road in the dirt is ok with an adult but not alone, and never on the streets. Yea, more laws are coming.

Total e-bike ban after a fatality in Key Biscayne, FLA

"All the clunky inexpensive internet only eBikes have hand throttles or can be ghost pedaled, but it is what parents can afford." Wtf? I bought my ebike online 3 years ago. It has a throttle. I only use it on takeoffs. My bike is great, 1000 watts, and super safe. The problem is not the vehicle...

    Lights Save Lives

I agree. Flash or strobe is blinding. Especially on a pitch dark road. My girlfriend wears a turn signal vest that has large turn arrows. It is easily seen in the dark. The control is bluetooth and sits on the handlebar. Not blinding at all. She rides behind me when we do night rides. She lets...

    Lights Save Lives

Turn signals are not on steady flash going down the road like front and rear lights. They are also smaller and used by maybe 1% of bike riders. Not a real issue.

    Lights Save Lives

Anything flashing or blinking at night is totally blinding. Should be outlawed except for emergency vehicles.

    Lights Save Lives

Yea, the Nite rider light is crap imo. I tried one and found the button switch breaks real easy. I tossed it and went back to all Cygolites. I buy the soft mounts to use anywhere.

    Lights Save Lives

I see that every time I go somewhere at night in my car. It's so stupid and just puts everyone at such high risk, especially during winter weather when visibility is so bad anyway. Lighting a bike is so cheap. Maybe some riders don't want to be seen as they run around town making nightime...

    Lights Save Lives

Solid lights front and rear at night only. My side amber lights are on slow flash day and night. Flashing lights, not frigging strobes, work great in daytime. Eye catching but not distracting for drivers. I'm seeing way too many blacked out bike riders at night. So stupid. Lights are cheap and...

    Lights Save Lives

I use Cygolites front and back and Brightside Amber side light for nite riding. Great light. Amber on both sides flash for those busy intersections when cars can't see you from the side of the bike. $27.00 on Amazon.

    Bad battery or safety feature?

That's a good price but why drop 50% of the powerfrom the Seagull? Guess it depends how big you are and how many hills you ride over. I need 1000 watts for my size and steep streets. My gf has the 500w Leopard and it does pretty good on hills but finds it hard to keep up with me. Either way...
