after fire at crazy lennys concerns about storing batteries....?

This has made me start thinking as well since I keep all of my bikes inside a garage that is connected to the house. Im hoping the incidence of fire to be generally ow. I wonder if they were able to pinpoint which battery was the culprit.

    My Bomber doesn't like mountains.

Pedal more. Lower your gear and help the bike (Its got pedals and a $1,000 gear box for a reason), also keep your momentum up, stops and specifically restarts use a lot of watts. Ive been up hills steep enough on my bomber that the front wheel spent very little time touching the ground.

    Sold my Stromer Elite!

You sold your ST1 for a 13 pound weight break and 10x the fire hazard? Well good luck. Whenever my bike starts feeling heavy Im just gonna step up my gym game.

ST2 what is the advantageous it has over the ST1 Platinum ?

The ST2 won't get you there any quicker as both bikes top out at 28mph. I wrote detailed reviews on the comparison between the two here: http://electricbikereview.com/community/threads/stromer-st1-vs-st2.1662/#post-17580

    Hub Motor Vs Mid-drive comparison

Great comparison, people tend to under estimate the Stromers climbing ability simply because its a hub motor, other than my Stealth Bomber Ive not been on a better turn key climber, and Ive tried a bunch. Also here in San Diego we have higher year round temps and I've not been able to get the...

    A2B Monster Upgraded 6800W 50Mph

I love the build, great job. Got anymore details on the build? Pay no attention to the few luddites on here most real ebike enthusiast love a hot rodded bike, in fact many questions on this forum based on how to get more power, speed and range. In fact, your build would be well received on...

A VERY Simple Ebike Law (Proposal)

In the spirit of rebellion associated with 2 wheel motorized vehicles, I am pretty much over laws regarding e-bikes (or any fringe transpiration) for that matter. I just tune it all out and ride. First they'd have to have police actually care to enforce the law (see jaywalking), then you'd...

    Burley Travoy

Quick little review on the Burley Travoy, overall I like it. It turns into a great little shopping cart when going into stores and saves a ton of space when stored in corners plus you never even know its back there when it is empty. My only issue is the bag thats comes with it is thin and tends...

New ST1 Elite Owner Looking for Advice

Id say learn to work on the bike yourself (teach a man to fish), understanding you can find out how to do everything out there on youtube. I work on my own ST2 and my Stealth Bomber, if I find myself over my head with a repair THEN I would take it to a shop. I bought a spoke torque wrench to...

    Annoying Rear Squeak Fix

Unfortunately it would likely take a sit down interview with "John" at Stealth to get it right. After I get to around the 500 mile mark I plan on doing a riders review highlighting some of the nuisances of the bike contrasted against other ebikes I own.

    Annoying Rear Squeak Fix

Yeah they make a ruckus for sure. Did your bomber come with regen? Was wondering if anybody had a timeline for the changes and years that correlate to differences in bikes. Mine is in the 260-270 range which I assume is a 2013-2014 mode?

    This is a cool bike

I pedal in the highest gear only but after 40mph it's a little pointless. Basically ghost pedaling at 40mph ++ If i decide to kick things up a notch and do 50-55mph I usually stop pedaling and instead concentrate on trying to keep the bike steady. That's a great question about the 23 mph as...

    This is a cool bike

Great job explaining the workings of the CA. Here are some shot of much less efficiency as I average 45-50 w/h per mile, with rarely aggressive riding.

    New here. Question on Safety

The motocross tracks here in Socal are filled with kids between the ages of 5-9 years old that are jumping 20ft doubles and some even jump the triples and hitting 45 mph on the straits. Kids are far more capable riders than the old timers on here will give them credit for. This kid clears a...
