    PIM Battery Reviews and Comments

I am glad PIM is coming out with larger batteries. 10 or 11aH seems to be the minimum with today's ebikes. I have a couple of Polaris ebikes and just had one of the 6Ah battery packs rebuilt. The rebuilder was able to increase it to 7.5aH in the same case which was cool. I would be interested...

Juiced Support - No more chat?

I am one of those who have praised and more recently criticized Juiced. Delays in manufacturing happen for any number of reasons. I am part owner of an equipment design and CNC manufacturing business (not ebikes) here in the U.S. and I understand that 100%. However, my #1 priority is to my...

Mid drives vs Hub drives ???

Hubs are better than mids. That being said, mids are better than hubs!

    What's it Worth to You

The Jugger Ultra does cost more not only because of the max drive (which alone cost 2x+ more than the Bafang hub motor) but because it has to have a special integrated frame to house it and thus drives up the cost. The Ultra drive is possibly the best Bafang makes in terms of component quality...

New Juiced Bike Model: The Scrambler, fat 20" Wheels, Class 3, Double-Seater

Meh, not feeling this at all. Wasn't a fan of the Luna Super Banana either. I also agree with J.R. that going to Indiegogo to fund this seems to be a step back

What to expect with a direct sales bike?

You did receive good support but I wouldn't call replacing an entire wheel with motor, controller and wiring non-trivial. Those are all pretty essential components to an ebike. Regardless, VEB is known for their great customer support. When I said "Spotty customer service" with direct buy...

What to expect with a direct sales bike?

With direct buy you will get a less expensive ebike than say a Haibike, Trek etc. That being said, the components will generally not be as good, usually average at best, and you can expect spotty customer service because you are most likely dealing with someone in another state. If you are...

    First impressions - Juggernaut Ultra

    That is shocking! o_O

Batteries batteries batteries, one big reason why choose an established ebike brand with good reputation.

Not exactly sure. I know that they purchase in larger volumes so maybe that factors in. They have sold nearly 30,000 e-bikes since 2015 and even with cheap ebikes that is still pretty impressive.

I Disagree with the Majority - My 2 cents

I am not a big fan of the pre-order model after the initial couple of rounds. I can see why many companies do it. There is huge advantage to taking pre-orders - companies don't have to upfront large sums of money, can gauge demand, limit risk and order in sufficient quantities. It works well...
