+1. The general guideline from bikerollingresistance.com is to inflate to 85% of maximum pressure. Provides a balance of lower rolling resistance and comfort. I’ve now settled on that, after trying both higher and lower pressures.

Bought a smartphone holder to put on the handlebars, and just didn’t like it. Having a costly device mounted up high and at risk of damage just not what I wanted. Stand-alone gps (for me, wahoo elemnt bolt v2) has been so much more useful, and doesn’t drain my phone battery.

Don’t know about others, but for me switching between higher cadence sitting down & lower cadence standing up, reduces my knee soreness and chance of leg cramps. Or at least, it might allow me to keep riding and climbing hills, even if in a bit of pain.

Regarding rolling resistance, been doing some research into what a difference tires might make. If I’m reading the information correctly, FYI if I did this correctly this is what I came up with for some different Conti road tires, when used front and rear. Doesn’t translate into a big difference...

Here it is, after swapping out tires. The 30mm barely fit. Rear has enough clearance, but front is just about to touch the caliper brakes. May be okay after wearing down tread, but might need to go to 28mm up front.
