I had that happen over a year ago. I wrote a post about this under Specialized. Took it back to the dealer and they ended up replacing the entire wheel under warranty.

I have had nothing but excellent support from Specialized with respect to my Turbo. I'm not saying this is the norm but I also had an issue with a Stromer and got really crappy support from Stromer. Crazy Lenny saved the day - excellent person, excellent dealer no matter where in the union you live.

Court could easily wear some sort of weight belt ;-) or carry a St.Bernard in a backpack ;-)

Weight should definitely be a consideration if you plan on going up some stairs or putting the bike onto a bike rack.

I think my totals will keep uploading at EBR so there is no reason to quit now :-) Although when the snowbanks take away the bike lanes (middle of December) then it's time to hang it up :-)

When it got really cold i used my xc ski boots. For mildly cold temps i will experiment with shoe covers this year. I may try them tomorrow...

I use dillinger 4 and 5 on my fat bikes and like them. If you can put an insulating cover on the battery without too much fuss I would. There is at least 20% loss of range in the winter. Warm boots ... Because your toes will freeze
