    New Review Desired

Evelo told me they worked with Dapu specifically to make this motor for them for the new model. I don't know if that's accurate but that's what a company rep. told me.

    Mid drive without torque sensing

JohnMcd, With your wife's condition, you would definitely want to add a throttle to your requirements you listed. Regardless of cadence or torque, a throttle would be needed to get her bike moving according to what you said. Most of those listed above would also have throttles.

    Mid drive without torque sensing

Dost ebikes would fit that requirement I think.

    DÖST IS LIVE!

I dont think they need to add rear suspension, just add torque sensor and maybe a newer bafang motor.

Has anyone received a Dost bike yet?

Suggestions: Belt drive, throttle, under $4,000

I see the Shimano electronic is an option for $400 more so I may or may not want to add that. But interesting new bike.

Suggestions: Belt drive, throttle, under $4,000

Dewey, thanks for your input. Been looking at Evelo bikes. I will shy away from diy solutions.

Suggestions: Belt drive, throttle, under $4,000

I know this will be quite limiting but this site brings broad knowledge so thought I would try. Interested in bikes under $4,000 that have Gates belt drive Throttle Mid motor IGH or CVT (ie, no derailer) Thanks for any leads

Senior Rookie Rider--650 miles on a Stunner LT

One of the best reviews I have seen on here for the "ordinary " non tech rider who may be a little older and not ridden for awhile and who is looking at their first ebike. Thanks

    Stunner Step thru

Look at the new review just posted by Ezra entitled "Senior rookie rider". He gives a nice account of his experience but he has the 2018 Stunner and it appears the more recent model has some improvements. Also, Biktrix gets some of the best reviews for great customer service of any of the...

Step Through, In hub gearing, Mid-Motor for Hills < 3K hard to find.

Hard to find mid drives with IGH and Gates belt drive in that price range but check out Evelo Auora Limited. Thrre may be other bikes that others can point you to, this is a great site to get help.

Need more umph and a mis drive step through that can do trails and pavement

Take a look at the Stunner X by Biktrix. It has most of what you listed you want plus one of the best for customer service according to reviewers on here. I also wouldn't dismiss the Evelo Auora Limited so quickly. I have read everything I can find about that model and mostly positive remarks...

    2019 Evelo Compass Trike

Never seen such good response from any other ebike company as Evelo. I have researched for buying my ebike and read many posts about responsiveness of companies which is important to me. Biktrix also gets good ratings but Evelo seems to be outstanding. My son works as a bike salesman for high...

Also disappointed with Dost. If they had put in bbshd with torque or even an ultra for a bit more $ they would have appealed to more I think.

    Rolloff competition??

Thanks for that information. What size motor and nm did it have?

    Rolloff competition??

I don't know much about the Rohloff system because they seem to be on bikes out of my price range. But I was looking at the Evelo Aurora Limited using a mid drive with the Nivinci and a Gates belt drive. I need help understanding if that is an alternative or is that a completely different kind...
