    SL 1.1 Motor Rebuild

Started the rebuild on the SL1.1. Removal from bike is easy, as is the strip to bare motor taking off arms and spider. Splitting the motor in 2 is more difficult than the video shows, as the metal sleeve on the outside of the bearing cups hold it in place and they are solidly mounted and need...

The Creo 2 is stiffer than the 1 and with the dropper, it needs the 47mm tyres to make the comfort. Hence when dropping a tyre size, it is also worthwhile considering a seatpost change if the dropper is not essential. Fitting the Ergon CF3 to my Creo 2 transformed it. I now run 28mm at 60psi...

The 1.2 is much quieter. Yes you can still hear it but gone is the mechanical whirr sounds like gears dragging. It is also much improved at speed cut off (mine cuts at 16.5mph here is Europe). The old 1.1 could hunt for limit and be on and off around that speed. The 1.2 does this much smoother

Tyre width is horses for courses, ie if you ride gravel, wide is good and if you ride road, skinny is good. I agree that the frame is very stiff and the standard dropper with zero compliance, making not great comfort. This is way in junction with the skinnier tyres, I swapped the seat post to...

Good advice. I hope you are finding it an excellent seat post like me. Can be a touch awkward to set up and find that sweet spot, but oh my days.......so nice when it's dialed in

It depends on the seat position, but the layback is 25mm on the setback version. Not been an issue for me

Not tried the Redshift. I had use the Ergon on my Roubaix before I got my first Creo, so I only had one choice in my book. On the Roubaix, it replaced the CGR (cobble gobbler), which all said was the best seat post, but the German's had other ideas. The Redshift may have good comfort, but the...

Just had a look and yes the All Road is the same post. I have the set back version. Split carbon leaf spring gives awesome comfort

I am running 28mm with zero issue or crank strikes. Provided the Roval's are 100mm from and 142mm rear, they will fit. The Zipps on my Roubaix fitted fine

Not done any really big rides as yet as the winter weather in the UK is against it. I did a 30 mile ride and it was really good. I had the Creo 1 and two has a much finer motor and is a smoother ride. I am still doing a few mods to the bike (tubeless, Garbaruk 46T front chainring), but from...

I have the Carbon Comp Creo 2 and I saved nearly 2kg with my mods. Cassette was swapped for Sram pg1210 to Garbaruk 10-50, wheels swapped to Newmen R38 with 28mm tyres, disc rotors swapped to Sram centrelines and tyres to Pirelli Cinturatu. I also removed the dropper and put in Ergon CF3...

    Creo at 5000 miles

Some damn good miles there Dave. The target when I got mine was to do 3650 miles, 10 miles for each day and I did that in my first year. Dropped off a bit this year with poor weather, typical UK. Was also out the country for 3 holidays which restricted my bike time, but not complaining about...

Creo 1, 2 and Creo 2 road spec all back to back

Ahh did not see you were the UK like me. Bikeinn transports the goods from Spain to UK wearhouse and therefore bypasses the customs. Delivery is a bit longer, but the savings are worth it

Creo 1, 2 and Creo 2 road spec all back to back

After testing mine tonight, the motor assist cuts out at 16.5 mph. My Previous Creo 1 was at 16.3mph, so similar numbers. With the Levo Kids, I though the same as you, that the cut off would be higher, given it thinks it on 24" wheels. From my understanding, the dealer can alter the wheel...

Update on my road spec Creo 2. I have now done 60 miles on the bike, 3000ft of climbing and 27% battery remains. Given that I have been testing out higher modes and micro tune, I don't think that is a bad return. The Creo 2 can match my Creo 1 for range with the option of more help if it...

Creo 1, 2 and Creo 2 road spec all back to back

I did consider the cut off point of the motor, but the difference will be tiny. I was looking at the Kids Levo to get hold of the 1.2 motor and they is coded to 24" wheels and that would have more of marked difference. One of the hacks they tried to use for by passing the speed restriction is...

Creo 1, 2 and Creo 2 road spec all back to back

That is way I went for the Comp as I knew I was changing much of groupset. To be fair, I did already have some of the parts. I now have all I need the update and just waiting for the last few bits to arrive. I have Garbaruk 46T gold chainring, Garbaruk gold derailleur pulleys and a Sram bleed...

Creo 1, 2 and Creo 2 road spec all back to back

The Ergon Cf3 / Canyon VCLS 15 (same post) is the best. I have the post on my Creo 1, 2 and Roubaix. The split leaf carbon spring gives a similar compliance to the future shock and make the post much comfy. The dropper has zero flex, the Terra will be better but it does not movement of the...

    Creo SL 1x Chainguide?

That is the motor bolt is it not? Should already be on the bike holding the motor in place

Lol - Stefan you are completely correct, road is my main. UK is so built up, we have no gravel....unless you count the crappy roads. I have have no use for the dropper and is did make bike pretty damn uncomfy and the Trans X on on the Comp has zero flex
