Can One order Garmin Varias on 2022 Turbo Vado 4.0?

Have a look at Garmin's website for the eRTL615. They do the Shimano cable that is just 2 wires, positive and negative. End of the day, this is just a link to the battery. The other stuff is sent via Ant+

Upgrading Vado SL Shimano Drivetrain From 10 to 12-speed

I have Shimano Di2 on my Creo1 and this had a large battery in the seat tube. This battery lasted 6 months at a time and I have a display on the bar to show gears and battery life, so was easy to see when it needed charging. The Creo 2 came with SRAM 12 speed and I have stuck with that as the...

Upgrading Vado SL Shimano Drivetrain From 10 to 12-speed

I know what you mean about the battery. The Shimano Di2 battery lasts for ever and never had a issue. The SRAM AXS battery has give me a couple of warning. The SRAM batteries are about 50 euro each, but you can buy a wire that will allow you plug the derailleur directly into your ebike and it...

Upgrading Vado SL Shimano Drivetrain From 10 to 12-speed

I know you said no SRAM, but have you considered SRAM wireless blips. Could fit the buttons on top the innerbarends, fighter jet style.

Upgrading Vado SL Shimano Drivetrain From 10 to 12-speed

Some SRAM and Shimano is fine to mix. On my Creo 1, I ran SRAM 10-42 cassette with GRX Di2 levers and rear derailleur. I would be fin with with SRAM/ Shimano or KMC chain. It is mainly the brakes that cause issue due to mineral oil / DOT fluid incompatible

Upgrading Vado SL Shimano Drivetrain From 10 to 12-speed

Stefan, you have a few issues with changes your are looking at. Firstly with 11 speed (and 12 thereafter), is did need a cassette hub on the rear to accommodate the wider cassette. There are a few companies that can get 11 speed cassettes on a 10 speed cassette hub, but it is a really limited...

    Creo 2 Carbon Cranks

The cranks is used are left and right, otherwise the pedal would not fit. The SRAM BB30 cranks, it is possible to remove the spindle completely and this leave two arms. I looked specifically for a crank thank had a bolt in each sire. On the BB30 cranks, it states do not remove, but this is...

I am 6' 2, 32" inseam and 240lbs. I have a 58cm. I have shortened the stem to 80mm, but I do have a layback on my seatpost. The 56 should come with 172.5mm cranks and the 58 with 175. If I was any smaller, I would have the 56

With Shimano, there was a clear difference in the tiers that you could feel. I don't have huge experience with SRAM, but the lines are less so with them. I was worried about APEX stuff, but got to say it is excellent. I did change the rear derailleur cage to save some weight and get some...

With the Creo, both 1 and 2 share the same carbon frame from Comp to S-works. I went for Comp as good entry price and I could swap to the bit I wanted. Yes the Expert get some better stuff, but the difference in price, I get exactly what I want and custom to me. My Creo 2 was under £6000 all...

Same as the Creo 1, a 12v supply can be taken off the bike via a splitter cable on the TCU. A front light is easy, but the rear is more of a challenge and no rear access holes near the seat.

I did want the Gold, but only the Blue was available in a 58 and Carbon Comp. Having now colour coordinated it with gold highlights, I now prefer the blue.
