I I did see a rumour that the motor will be the same mounting and interchangeable. The wiring loom must be similar to use the same battery and range extender an charge port door looks the same. Uses Mastermind TCU. The pictures of just the motor, the mount holes look similar.

This review covers the bits I wanted to see. It does use the same battery and in turbo mode, it does used more battery. However, the trail mode is more efficient, so lower power will get range benefits.

Watched a few reviews on it. All say much quieter but not much on battery range given the additional power output

The eRTL615 is not in UK stores as yet, but the Shimano cable was listed as extra on the Garmin website. Looking at the cable, I wonder if this is just a HIGO connection? If so, means you can pick up a bare wire connection for a few £ $ etc, rather than the huge price Garmin want

The Shimano cable will work, bit you will need the Y Cable splitter to get a 12V supply from the bike from what I have worked out. The Specs on the eRTL615 show input up to 12V, which this will give. The Shimano cable ends in bare wire, which would need to be attached to + and - .

Did you notice the voltage? It has dropped from 48v of the current 1.1 to 36V so not fully convinced this is genuine. That said, the Creo / Levo SL is due the replacement

I have just checked the specs on Garmin website and it state will accept up to 12V input, so the Y harness for light will work..........however Garmin's pricing makes no sense. The RTL515 is $200 and I can find this for £130 in the UK. The new eRTL615 is $300, but you get less. There is no...
