    Bicycle pump track

Here's our tech's setup to get his pump track bike out to ours in Hood River: Full face helmet, knee and elbow pads, good gloves too. It's a great way to build bike handling skills and the pump track bikes aren't too pricey to get into!

    Over50's Tern GSD Chronicles - Gen 1 and Gen 2 R14

I'm riding a S10 LX last summer through this year as my "shop bike" should you want to fire some questions my way too. We've got 3 of us at the shop riding Tern's, 2 GSD's and one HSD, huge fans!

    Cannondale Topstone Gravel Ebike

I believe those are intended for the analog Topstone. For the Neo's you have to have a compatable headset cap and room in the head tube which I don't believe there is.

    Cannondale Topstone Gravel Ebike

I've got carbon FSA bars that can route internally but haven't as there's no point. Cables will be exposed from the bars to the portion on the head tube where they're run inside.

    Charger4 w/ Rohloff

As mentioned yep you can ride the Supercharger with a single battery and R&M makes the handy transport covers to cover the open battery cavity so it isn't exposed while riding. I checked the dealer site to confirm and indeed the Charger4 has been redesigned with the new Smartsystem which isn't...

Adding a suspension fork to my Orbea Vibe or/and Synapse néo 2 ...

Check out the Fox 32 and the Rockshox Rudy https://www.ridefox.com/family.php?m=bike&family=32tc https://www.sram.com/en/rockshox/models/fs-rudy-bse-a1 Granted your axle/crown measurement might change a little but those two forks are going to be the best way forward.

    Bought Cannondale Topstone Neo5

It's a fairly niche bike so it's not surprising that supply is limited. That said we've still got 2 larges left, one in a box and one on the floor. They're pretty sweet!! What lights did you go for?

    Winter Sucks

I think you're mixing it up, fat tires are horrific in actual icy conditions. Studs you want narrower so there's more pressure on each stud and digs into the ice. Fat tires are designed for float in snow so it's the opposite. For commuting I find there's more ice and slush/shallow snow so a...

Considering a Gazelle, Pros and Cons?

Every manufacture puts "subject to change" with regards to their componentry and we're seeing that more and more but I would imagine that'll settle down some with the improvement in spare part inventory. Gazelle never used an XT shifter or derailleur, it's always been Deore (which works just...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

That's a shame the dealer doesn't have more pull with regard to the frame warranty. If you were riding a size L they need to replace it with the same size or something comparable, that's the whole point with a warranty. Might consider selling the batteries if they'll get you a new Vado, I...

    Studded tire

Again, not every tire measures exact to the number. Depending on tread height they could clear. Just because it says 53mm doesn't mean it's going to measure out to 53mm...

Considering a Gazelle, Pros and Cons?

Couldn't disagree with this more, perhaps the shops ability to communicate effectively is the issue? Our outside rep and everyone with Gazelle has been incredible and we usually move 150+ units a year. Not only has warranty support been great (infrequent too, well built stuff) but they'll...

    Studded tire

In my experience back in Alaska and here in Hood River, OR Schwalbe Ice Spiker Pro's are hands down the best and most aggressive. I've got some Kahva's on the way to try out but they're only 27.5x2.1 so quite a bit narrower which would be worse in snow. Granted the studs don't get used much but...

It's the belt within the drive unit. The actual drivetrain doesn't suffer anything typically, but the drive unit is toast.

Can someone sort out Gazelle models for me?

Here's a little breakdown of the naming we use in the shop to explain the model families, hopefully it helps! HMB= Hybrid Mid drive Bosch T9=Shimano 9s drivetrain T10=Shimano 10s drivetrain c7/8=internally geared Shimano 7 or 8s hub C380=Enviolo rear hub, so far only paired with a belt drive...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

Sorry to hear about the drive unit failure, especially on the 1.2 motors. I broke my 1.3 motor and was able to warranty that as it was within the first 6 months of riding the bike to the shop, approx 4500mi. Frustrating that the belt failures are to be expected on these drive units. Did the...

2020 Vado 3.0 winter tire fit

Winter riding time, heck yea!! Here's the setup on my Vado, I swapped over to 27.5 wheels in order to run a larger casing tire of the Schwalbe Ice Spiker pro (best on the market IMO). The front fender touched the knobs only a little during harsh bumps, otherwise they're fine. Feel free to...
