How can I set the remaining battery range in my main nav window in the Cobi app?

Yes, that makes sense - there are some parts (not many), which are packaged and branded. Not sure about the warranty though - do they have phone/e-mail support for end users? I prefer to deal with Bosch via LBS - much less headache. Also Bosch-certified LBS can do lots of things end-users can't...

How can I set the remaining battery range in my main nav window in the Cobi app?

Hm, have you bought Nyon directly from Bosch? I doubt so. Yes, some parts are available for sale here and there, but I don't think it is Bosch who selling them. This is different resellers which got some Bosch items via OEM channels.

How can I set the remaining battery range in my main nav window in the Cobi app?

They are B2B company. Meaning they don't sell parts to end users and don't do support for end users either. They work with bike manufacturers, stores and service centers instead. And my LBS is happy with them - they are responsive and great at warranties. I confirmed it myself when they were...

How can I set the remaining battery range in my main nav window in the Cobi app?

Well, you request can be quite easily implemented in old app if only Bosch really have interest doing so. But they are not and their support of old platform is really very limited and SmartphoneHub is not on the list at all :( Regarding new platform - it is completely different and incompatible...

How can I set the remaining battery range in my main nav window in the Cobi app?

They kind of replaced it with new device and new app on their new platform, which is architected much better and much more user-servicable. I believe they learned a lot from feedback about SmartphoneHub, however to benefit from this you need new bike :( This was actually the reason I got Nyon...

How can I set the remaining battery range in my main nav window in the Cobi app?

It is not possible unfortunately :( Coby app is pretty much end-of-life and not getting any features or fixes anymore. If you going to keep this bike, I suggest considering replacing SmartphoneHub with Kiox or Nyon displays - they allow to customize screens in a way you want.

New High Torque IGH announced by 3x3

More options of ebike-friendly IGH are always welcome, will be following the progress of this one! Looks pretty impressive on paper! One thing though I think Kindernay did better is a shifting! Their hydraulic shifter is awesome and so joy to use, so I would consider going back to cable as a...

Ultimate 380+ Belt Tension, is this too much slack?

Looks loose to me, tighten it a bit. I have belt tension meter and use it to adjust the level, but Gates has phone app for this purpose too - pretty strange honestly, but it might be not working well on my phone, so give it a try.

Phone app for Gazelle Ultimate 380+

Thanks! This clears up the things here! This is something Gazelle installs in NL (probably optionally), but definitely not in US.

Phone app for Gazelle Ultimate 380+

I see the app but I don't understand where it suppose to connect? C380+ doesn't have anything Gazelle-specific from electronic point of view. May be you are supposed to install some module to the bike and then this app makes sense. I am sure there is nothing like this installed on the Gazelle...

Phone app for Gazelle Ultimate 380+

Which app are you talking about? The only app you may need is Bosch eBike Connect is you upgraded your screen to Kiox or Nyon, otherwise c380+ doesn't support any apps.

Ultimate C380+ Water bottle cage location other than Seat Tube?

There is some power splitter behind motor cover, cable from this splitter goes from the left side of the motor to the bottom of the 2nd battery.

Can't turn off lights on Gazelle Ultimate T10+

And this is for the stock light, which is not very bright. I have it replaced with Supernova, which is brighter and will consume even more. Agree. I use blinking lights on my helmet during day (if there are not very bright outside). If it is bright day, I don't use any.

Another Prodigy Review - Prodigy XC

Are you riding only using throttle? I am trying to understand why the hate about pedal-assist bikes?

Another Prodigy Review - Prodigy XC

I see and share your frustration - this happens literally everywhere: cars, computers, phones, bikes, home appliances, etc and it is extremely difficult to resist - you can, but this is very time consuming process. I am doing this already with my computers and phones (buying only specific models...

Another Prodigy Review - Prodigy XC

Exactly same feeling from my side - I could care less about your interest only in "non-propitiatory" motors and other stuff. I responded here only because you shitted the pretty descent bike in your first comment here for no reason at all - all the complains you listed there is only yours and...

Another Prodigy Review - Prodigy XC

Well, this is you point of view. I personally explicitly bought bike without throttle since I want just a bicycle which rides faster and further, not the motorcycle, where I am just sitting and holding the throttle button. Pedaling/shifting gears is part of fun when riding and I simply don't...

Another Prodigy Review - Prodigy XC

None of the big mid-drive btanded motors (Boach, Brose, Yamaha, etc) have brake kill switches (even on bikes costing $10k+) and as was already mentioned you don't need them. Motors cuts off immediately as you stop pedalling (thanks to torque sensor and absence of throttle) and this is what you...

Kindernay VII IGH and HYSEQ Onesie shifter

Forgot to share oil refilling response I got from Kindernay: So looks like as was already shared above, 20mL is a current recommended volume. What I don't like is that it is not clear that 20mL is a right quantity from their web site. I.e. they are selling Velvet gear oil – 5 changes with...
