    Battery rebound

It won't act like a higher voltage for very long when you ride the next time. It'll drop FAST!

    RR5 New Motor Won't Work

If it's a small wire, it's probably a hall sensor wire. Surprised you didn't get a code on the display.

Electric Bike Throttle and Pedal Assist not working

I'm guessing there is some programming to be done on that replacement display.

powertube 625 fails after 1400 miles with temp error

Does your car fail every time the maintenance light comes on? The bike hasn't either. I suspect you have to reboot the battery system. Take the battery out, let it sit for a few minutes and reinstall. Your dealer or any Trek dealer can help you out.

    Intermittent loss of power

You should definitely get some contact cleaner and clean all you can get at with an 8 year old eBike. Do you store the bike in a garage or house? Stored in a damp area would make the contact corrosion worse. There is no voltage sag in the Bosch Haibikes, but can't say for sure about the Yamahas.

Can someone explain to me e-bike maintenance

Just watch videos on YouTube about bicycle maintenance. eBikes are no different.

    Building up bike chains

I replace my chains every 3,000 miles. Buying a spool of chain would be more than a lifetime supply! There must be 25 videos on YouTube telling you have to do it.

    Co-op rules against ebike

Of course a co-op can have a clause to prevent hazardous materials stored in your apartment. New York, New York is doing that right now as well. Apartment fires are a real thing. Plenty of them shown on YouTube. Air Line companies have outlawed carrying them on airplanes for a couple years now.

New Bosch Performance Line CX Gen2 (BDU 280P CX) 75Nm

"These are the latest ones for the small sprocket" Those would not be the latest Bosch motors.

If running tubes why keep patching it instead of replacing it?

It's the difference between 50 cents or $10 that provides the inspiration to patch.

    Quality first but dollars count!

I'm at nearly 7 years on a Haibike with Bosch mid drive, almost 8,200 miles. It's not the only eBike I have, so mileage is low since I switch around. I too am 70. If you buy any eBike with a Bosch drive system, or a Trek eBike, you can use any Trek dealer for service. I suspect Trek has the...

    New Chainlift tool

I really like the looks of this new tool. A bit pricey, but no more chain wrestling with the derailleur. Too bad I couldn't have gotten that on my Christmas list. https://chainlift.com/pages/how-it-works

Is there a single gear, rear wheel, no hand brake, 500 w 48 V ebike conversion kit?

He said he didn't want a front motor in the title, but he'll have to decide which he wants, coaster brakes or front motor.

    solar generator

We just went 10 days with little sun in Central IL. It would take one hell of a big battery pack to make solar work here in the winter. I'm real curious what the term solar generator mean? Generators are commonly considered a rotating device and solar panels are commonly called a converter.

PSA: Vendors must provide replacement parts for sale for e-bikes sold to customers in California, for 7 years

My two Bosch powered Haibikes turn 7 this year, so Bosch is off the hook for me. I bet the direct sellers in China would get a good laugh about that law!

Bafang BBS 02 750w strange problem - No Power?

I always suggest everyone buys a multimeter to check actual voltage. If the battery measures well, then you start testing the wiring harness. It's an essential tool if you want to troubleshoot and repair DIY.

Bosch CX not working - Help me diagnose please

Do you have a 400 battery pack? If you do, you boot up the display like always. When the speedometer and PAS level doesn't come on, reach down and press the battery reset for 15 seconds. The display should now be booted up correctly and everything should be fine.
