    “No e-bikes allowed”

This is the Guy in Vermont Maine, 300m trip, who knows how genuine it is, but its pretty entertaining, just the notion of pretending to be a homeless traveller would see most people off. Hes quite a character and gives zero ducks . The difference between the UK and America, places accepting bags...

    “No e-bikes allowed”

My Levo came with a broken charger, I took it apart and its fully potted, but as you can see a component failure, this happened at three years old. I'll keep the charge cable in case I damage mine, it can be safely resoldered, notice theres an extra wire already chopped, the unit hasnt been...

Mooching about is becoming an obsession with me, I have never felt so connected with those old men I used to see next to a bike, looking into the distance and wanting to get there at human speed.

    “No e-bikes allowed”

I wouldnt charge an ebike battery in a hotel, or airbnb. Im not extending my faith in the battery I just battered over miles if rough trails to all the families staying there. We book places with parking close enough to put an extension out to a van , it would still be a fire, but they are...

Parked the van in the Plough car park, a mike on a country lane to the canal, bit tight. Approaching the Marina A mixture of busy port, run down housing and trendy little cafes for bikers and cyclists I had no intention of riding to Lancaster, it just sort of happened when I caught a sight...

    Do you ride with someone?

I always carry a bag of nylon straps, grips, chain extractor, spare tube, roll of electrical tape, multi bit screwdriver and a length of metal trim with holes. And a spare old school phone with a prepaid sim.

I probably posted it but the founder of the Edinburgh Woolen Mill was my grandmas cousin, I use this as a thin connection to Scotland at parties. So when I got back from my Scotland trip, Im telling my mother of a 'whos the most Scottish' around the campfire, which I brought up and was shot...

    Grizzly bear attack in B.C.

I remember the story of the bear who killed two Lakeside campers, when they discovered the bodies they sent a search party for the bear, it was found nearby mooching about. The writer of the article pondered peoples reaction to the fact that it hadnt left farther from the scene. The presumption...
