I'm lucky, I guess, because I ordered extra gear oil a while back, because it was hard to get.
My hub didn't leak until I did a hard ride (while riding on pavement) hitting 1500-1700W a number of times.
Right after that the hub started to leak.
I guess I won't have to worry about sending my Kindernay hub all the way back to Germany when it falls again.
I should have seen the writing was on the wall when riders had their leaking hubs replaced only to have them start leaking again.
If (probably more like when) my hub starts...
I've heard good things about Flat Out.
I recently put it in my commuter and mountain ebikes.
I can't comment on how effective it is because I haven't put many miles on my bikes since the install.
I fellow I ride with has the Trek Domane+ with the TQ motor. He had the same chain drop problem that you had and after the bike shop and a Trek regional tech did multiple changes to the front shifter they ended up installing the 105 front derailleur (he also has Di2) and the bike is now...
If you haven't already you can put in a review on Dost with the Better Business Bureau.

I don't understand the logic of your post. Are you saying that I have to purchase a new handlebar so I can install a mirror?
The Photon is new and I'm sure you'll make changes to the bike as you get feedback from people who have purchased your product, but showing me a way to solve the mirror...
From what I've read on this forum I wouldn't recommend anyone purchasing a bike or bike accessories from DOST.
I think they're in financial trouble and wouldn't be surprised if they cease operations in the near future, which is a real shame.
One of the few items that my wife dislikes about her new Photon is the grips, or more specifically the fact that a bar end mirror can't be added to the stock Photon grips and putting a bar mirror on the bike is near impossible, because the throttle and display take up the bar spaced needed to...
Bike companies are being hit hard with the economic downturn. Unfortunately, I think DOST is one of those small companies that's on the verge of bankruptcy, or already finished. I hope you get a full refund.
I have a set of Argon grips (short and long). I've put the regular length side on the left, so I could install an end mirror, but I didn't switch the right side, because I wasn't sure if the Argon short grip would work properly with the Photon's shifter.
