Which battery will give me longer range?

I'm looking to get maximum range from my existing dolphin battery setup, and need either a 2nd battery or just a different battery. My current battery is 48V 11.6Ah Li-Ion With 30 Amp Continuous BMS Samsung 29E Cells, and depending on the route I take to work, may or may not get me there with a...

    Spicy Curry review?

My hunger for a Spicy Curry review will have to be satiated with yellow curry fried rice for the time being. Such are the sacrifices we make!

    More battery and/or more power

Top speed is 40 kilometers per hour, or about 24mph, but I haven't had it above 22mph...can't pedal hard enough. No, haven't checked voltage. I know it's barely getting me there, because one trip I varied the route and had a short/steep hill at the end, and it died on the hill. So now I stick...

    More battery and/or more power

Thanks for the replies. I do check the tire pressure for each ride for exactly that reason, and I agree it seems like a short range. They claim the battery can go 15-40 miles, but I had thought 15 miles would be the range if you used 100% throttle. I had heard from one of the founders they went...

    More battery and/or more power

I recently bought a RadWagon from Rad Power Bikes. It has a 750w peak motor, and a 48v, 11.5 ah battery. I'm using the bike to commute to work, 22 miles each way. I recharge the battery at work and at home. I'm a heavy rider, weight more than 2 Courts (this should be a new standard of weight...

Another Sondors CrowdFunding Campaign.. Back to IGG with a Thin bike

True, the price range does allow people to find an entry-level bike for an entry-level price. Anything that inspires one to be outdoors more, biking more, driving less is pretty great. Side note: This site is such a great resource - so glad it's here! Endless Sphere is a little too tech-y (for...

Another Sondors CrowdFunding Campaign.. Back to IGG with a Thin bike

The vast price range astonishes me for ebikes. It's not unusual for them to be well over $3,000, yet several are now coming out under $1,000. Is it still a true 'get what you pay for', or are the distribution channels so different that they're simply avoiding giant amounts of markup?

Big Man, What and When to Buy

Two words for Dave: cargo ebike I just bought the Rad Power RadWagon (http://www.radpowerbikes.com/products/radwagon-electric-cargo-bike) and love it. Capacity is 350 lbs, so not quite enough for him, but other cargo bikes have higher capacity. Yuba elmundo for instance has a 440 lb capacity.
