    Winter Sucks

I am giving some thought to a warmer jacket or parka for winter rides. For anybody here that wears a parka during cold weather rides, is the length restrictive when pedaling? https://toughduck.com/product/safety-down-filled-parka

What Waterproof Pants Do You Like For E-Biking?

That is the very pair of pants that I wore today on my bike rides. Mine are not water-proof. They may be a bit water-resistant, but definitely not water-proof.

What Waterproof Pants Do You Like For E-Biking?

I actually have an old pair of Walls "Blizzard Pruf" bibs. While they are pretty warm and I have been wearing them quite a bit while biking lately, I think non-bibs might be a bit more comfortable.

What Waterproof Pants Do You Like For E-Biking?

I am considering a pair of snowboard pants for colder weather biking. Does anybody here wear anything like this biking and, if so, how well do they work out for you...

What Do You Wear Over Your Eyes When Biking At Night (Especially During Cold Weather)?

I have a helmet that I wear while ATVing. I haven't worn it, yet, while on my e-bike, but I might just try that.

Slow Moving Vehicle (SMV) Sign On Bicycles

Indianajo, that is a good move. I typically wear a Utility Pro UHV563 jacket in orange for my fall rides. I also have an orange Walls vest that I wear pretty much any time I ride. I like the inner pocket to hold my smartphone and the hi visibility orange color. Plus, it has the reflective...

What Do You Wear Over Your Eyes When Biking At Night (Especially During Cold Weather)?

When the temperatures dropped in Minnesota some weeks back, I started wearing googles because my face got cold. I have pretty much been wearing them, day or night, since then. Tonight, however, I started without them. A minute into the ride I was going to turn back to get them, but decided to...

Slow Moving Vehicle (SMV) Sign On Bicycles

I live only 12 miles from Minneapolis, so I am very well aware it is the Wild West in some places. The next thing you know people will want something done about all the carjackings in the Twin Cites, too!

Slow Moving Vehicle (SMV) Sign On Bicycles

Interesting. Had you had instances of vehicles getting to close to you, thus the accessory? Or, did you just add that to make sure it doesn't happen?

Slow Moving Vehicle (SMV) Sign On Bicycles

With some recent posts on here about bicycle headlights, taillights and other safety equipment, it made me think about other vehicles that share the streets and highways that are traveling slowly. I grew up on a dairy farm. We had a number of tractors and other farm implements. We always had a...

    Reflective Materials On Bicycle Helmet

If anybody here has any URLs for purchasing such reflective materials, please feel free to share here. Regarding colors, perhaps red on the rear of the helmet, yellow on the sides and white on the front.

    Reflective Materials On Bicycle Helmet

Has anybody here added reflective materials to their helmet? I so, are some better than others for the helmet while riding a bicycle? https://helmets.org/reflect.htm

I disagree. For example, turn signals need to flash or blink in my not so humble opinion.

    Cold weather/wind = Cold head

Like was already suggested, a water-resistant and windproof balaclava may be helpful. I don't think any of the ones that I use, currently, are. This is another one that is water-resistant and windproof. The Klim Arctic Balaclava has a breath deflector to reduce googles from fogging up. Klim...

    Winter Sucks

I am looking for a water-resistant/windproof balaclava ski mask. I have a couple of balaclavas, but they are not water-resistant/wind-resistant. What do you use that works well e-biking when it is cold outside?

    Winter Sucks

I am heading home from work and it is a mild 46 degrees Fahrenheit in the (Not So) Saintly City. I will probably take a bike ride after dinner.

    Lights Save Lives

I have read something similar in the past. I seem to recall emergency vehicles, like police, fire or EMS, have similar concerns. Maybe I should go steady burn on headlight, taillight and traffic wand.
