There might be not the best option considering the warranty, but have you considering buying a new battery in another country like Germany for example? I've seen a few bike stores still selling the 691Wh battery online.

Considering the battery unavailability in the future (and the no possibility of refurbish an official one) I wonder how hard could be to convert the "old" Turbo to a standard electric bike by aquiring a new motor and battery and adapt it to the Turbo frame. May be one day....

I think in Europe they sell the 6.0 at 45km/h but with the 250W motor, though the 5.0 is the one with the more powerful 350W motor. Is it like that in the US (I mean the power of the motor, not the speed, lucky you guys have not this stupid limitation).

Check if the metal contacts between in the battery or the bike are clean. If you see nothing obvious, your battery or something else on the bike may have to be replaced. Do you have an official Specialized dealer near you?

What "tuning app" do you mean? The Diagnostic software? To remove the limitation you need the diagnostic software and the tool which neither are easy to find (but not impossible, just ask any Specialized bike store you have around). It's easier to find in Europe the Vado 6.0 that comes already...
