Known Issues & Problems with NCM Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

If it's like mine, there is no on/off switch thru the display. It is a direct 48V draw off the battery. The light that came with mine had a switch on top of the light itself for on/off. If your light doesn't have a switch, you will have to install one.

Marketing BS! There's no magic here.

    et.Cycle??

Glad to hear you like the bikes and buying experience. Re the motors, in the specs it says the Milano and other NCM bikes use the X15 motor while the T720 and T1000 use a new G26 motor. From what you have seen, the G26 has more zip?

ET Cycle T720 Just arrived, this is a BIG bike.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what if any the difference is between the Das-Kit G26 found on the T720 and the Das-Kit X15 used on the NCM Moscow, Milano, etc.?

Front rack on the T720 and T1000

Would anyone know if that front rack I see on the T720 would fit on an NCM Moscow or Milano? And if so, whether it can be puchased as an accessory? Answer Share

    C7 power setting adjustment

Where are you located? Maybe an existing Das-kit owner would be willing to test swapping a display as a diagnostic tool or maybe even enabling a permanent setting? I imagine a C7 or L7 display would work for this. Just a thought.

    C7 power setting adjustment

That's a bummer. Does anyone think swapping the display would solve this? Or is it a controller function? Maybe the display would just have to be swapped temporarily and this setting reset and the setting would stick with the controller when the initial display is swapped back in? I have never...

Just bought my first E-bike(Toronto, Ontario)

If you purchased from Amego, I think you made a good choice. I have nothing against Leon Cycles at all, but speaking for myself, Amego have treated me very well for service and maintenance.

Just bought my first E-bike(Toronto, Ontario)

You may want to join the TERA FB group and/or the TERA Meetup group. We did several Toronto-based group rides last year, but the pandemic so far has put a damper on things. We may start some soon again now that things are looking better. In fact any member can set up a ride and see who signs up...

Lost key , does anyone know what kinda key it uses?

This is why I never use a lock/ignition key, etc,, unless I have at least one spare key at home. If I start with 2 and lose one, I immediately try to get a duplicate.

    Rebuilding an E Bike battery

I assume you've seen this site? https://ebikemarketplace.com/products/prodecotech-e-bike-battery-replacement?variant=7418428194846 Looks like they just build a standard 13s lithium pack in the enclosure and scrap the LiFePO4 pouch cells. Maybe you can find a ready-made shrink wrapped lithium...

Cut off voltage of the standard Moscow?

Possible, but I have several chargers and some go to 54.6V, some to 54.0, etc. I think it is more likely it is just a manufacturing tolerance issue. It doesn't really matter a whole lot. I seldom charge to full anyways. Only immediately before a long trip or to balance cells once in a while.

    Thanks everyone!

And the ones from ebikes.ca are Sapim spokes and they do come in silver. The other option is 13ga/14ga single butted spokes. These are 13ga at the hub and 14ga at the nipple. I have several of these in my rear wheel right now intermingled with the original 13ga straight spokes. To date, I have...

    C7 power setting adjustment

I would be interested in hearing how the new fork works out after you have had a chance to ride with it and also a link to which one it is. I was thinking of upgrading as well.

    Magnum Pathfinder code

Yea..a lot of people complain that their bike is not fast enough, but I'm with you -- I like to do some of the work myself. I suspect there may be a way to tone it down, by using some kind of external device, but I don't know enough to advise on that. If you're able to find out what...

    Magnum Pathfinder code

Interesting...which motor are they using? I assume it's not the DAS-Kit that is used on the other Magnum bikes.

Mine is a 27.5" Amego Infinite Plus. I believe it is the same rear wheel. The numbers I have found are: Crank Side - 208mm Non-crank side - 209mm In practice 1mm doesn't matter much and I have used the same length on both sides

A minor mod to the process of changing spokes without removing the wheel. Instead of using a magnetic screwdriver to seat the new nipple and not lose it in the double walled rim, I used the old (broken spoke), or another one if you have extras, threaded on the backside of the new nipple to place...
