Intermittent cut of power of Moscow

It has to be the connection. Take it off and check for broken or bent pins. If OK, reconnect and make sure it is well seated.

    Milano+

Thanks. I'm running Schwalbe Big Ben tires rated at 35-70psi and run the rear one at 60psi. Maybe I'll bump up to 65psi.

    Milano+

I've had several broken spokes and have managed to replace them without removing the wheel. I just had my 1st breakage that would normally require removing the wheel and disc to put the replacement in properly. I chose to put the replacement in backwards as suggested above. I'll have to see how...

New NCM C7 Electric City Bike. Thoughts?

I would agree. I think the Milano or Milano+ would be a much better buy for a city bike: 48V, bigger battery more powerful motor step through suspension front fork

ET Cycle T720 Just arrived, this is a BIG bike.

I own an Amego Infinite+ which is basically an NCM Milano+. I was visiting a friend last week and he had just received a T720 and I took it for a few short rides on it. My observations: Re the two motors, the G26 seems a bit beefier and definitely wider to fit in the wider wheels of the T720...

How I bypassed the speed restriction on my NCM 500W/48V Moscow Plus 29er.

Interesting...can the existing C7 or L7 display be used with that controller or do you use a different display and just retain the motor from the original setup? Is this a practical setup for permanent use?

    C7 power setting adjustment

I probably should have said "slightly more natural feel" although this is subjective of course; it's been so long since I permanently switched to Eco that I don't remember what the other modes felt like.

    C7 power setting adjustment

Here's the way I think it works: The various PAS levels are each associated with a speed and the controller will provide the assist needed to get you up to that speed and to maintain it. This is regardless of whether it is in Eco, Normal, or Power mode. The mode just sets how fast it tries to...

How I bypassed the speed restriction on my NCM 500W/48V Moscow Plus 29er.

I was just wondering how these hacks were going? You said the power switch was done. Any chance of sharing it?

    C7 power setting adjustment

Here is a picture of the Das-Kit CT5 I5 controller: https://epiccycles.ca/product/spare-parts/magnum-i5-controller/ It is a black box and mounted under the downtube near the crank on most bikes. The controller feeds the signals to the motor, controlling amount of current flowing, voltage, etc...

    C7 power setting adjustment

Interesting..Just for clarity. you mean C7 "Display", not "Controller"? I have the samller L7 Display that came with the bike and it is also unlocked.

    C7 power setting adjustment

I know the T1000 has a different motor (G26) than the other NCM bikes (X15), but not clear what the difference is nor whether there is a controller change as well that causes this power setting to be unavailable.

    Amego Infinite discontinued ?

I believe the North Amercan versions are 500 watt. They use the same motor and controller as the Amego Infinite's

    Amego Infinite discontinued ?

I asked that same question of my contact at Amego a few weeks ago and was told they couldn't get Infinite's right now. However, I suspect it is discontinued as you suggest. The NCM Milano and NCM Milano+ have virtually identcal specs and fill that need. The NCM Moscow and Moscow+ also are quite...

Known Issues & Problems with NCM Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Hey Mr. Bitmugger You mean there is another connector (in addition to the one used for the light) hidden in the downtube that comes directly off the 48V power?

Known Issues & Problems with NCM Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I cut that 48V tap used for the light and put a splitter in there with one side going to the light and the other with an Anderson connector to plug in any other 48V items. Right now, on that side I have a small digital voltmeter plugged in. Other items I may use down the road include my 48v air...
