There is an excellent bicycle "Bullit" and you can add a BionX or any 48V kit. This specific frame can take roughly 600lbs but the limitation is always with the wheels/spokes. Heavy duty double wall rim + 36/ 12 gauge spokes both front and rear, it should handle 450 lbs easily.

These guys in Australia have done quite a bit of tweaking to get past the speed limiter on Velectrix and Bosch E-bikes. Contact them to see if they can direct you to someone who can help with that. I know of few stores who unlock the Bosch system using a dongle for their own customers...

Irene, Let us know if we can help you pick the right bike. Most of the E-bikes with 350W motor will have enough power to take you up 7% grade hill. If you have neck, spine issues, we suggest you try something with adjustable stem like Easy Motion EVO Street or EVO City.

2015 EG Maui's come with an upgraded 48 V motor and battery combination. It has plenty of power to tackle any hill. Our weekends are always busier but you're welcome to drop by anytime. Just give us a heads up.
