Cadence question.... A "skip" when pedaling on my left foot?

So I have a Lectric ONE and when I get into the highest gear I find myself "skipping" a bit on my left foot at roughly the 10-11 o'clock position. A clunk-like small skip. It feels like a loose crank arm but I don't think its the bike, it seems to be me. I don't have this issue on the Xpedition...

    Review of my Lectric ONE.

Another fun fact, the Lectric branded handlebar extender is ill fitting. It doesn't fit well no matter how you manipulate the spacers. Plus it gets tangled in all the wires. Might mess with it again later but I don't expect satisfactory results.

    Review of my Lectric ONE.

The "new" vendor for the Lectric mirrors SUCK! This is not a camera trick! Horrible fish eye effect. Going in the thrift store bin!

    Review of my Lectric ONE.

I've been riding the Xpedition. I still have a weird sound I need to figure out (sounds like a jar of screws when first taking off) on the ONE. I just can't ride a bike without mirrors. But I'm really looking forward to the maiden voyage!

    Review of my Lectric ONE.

STILL waiting on the bar end mirrors, so the ONE still only has 6 miles on it. I also ordered mud flaps for it. Pictures to come when the flaps arrive. Guess I'll have to download the Gates belt app.

    Help choosing folding ebike please

I recently gave away my Lectric XP 3.0. It was a great ebike BUT it was heavy and the battery was tricky to remove. If I was to do it again (meaning I needed a folder) I would consider a Lectric XP Lite belt drive. Or a Blix Vika X. What exactly is your intended use for a light folder? Exercise...

    Broken Down Tube

SE PK Ripper bmx bikes are prone to this same non-sense. I had one crack in the same spot and I had the post inserted correctly, but my crack was caused by the seat post flexing. I just cut the top part off, put a key hole on the seat post tube below the top tube and put a hinged seat clamp on...

    interesting new garmin radar data

When I was younger and rode road bikes I always ended up in the back of the pack. Why you ask? Because I always ran a mirror on my road bike. I was the first person calling "Car back!" on our group rides on narrow 2 lane country roads (Pungo Virginia to those who've ridden it). I've always ran...

Tubeless or Mr Tuffy and sealant in tube for goatheads?

Walmart used to sell extra thick Goodyear branded inner tubes. Those were great tubes for the price. Haven't seen them in awhile though. Now it's Blackburn brand, not as nice.

    Review of my Lectric ONE.

I've used tire liners on every bike I've owned for the last 35 years, if not longer. I kinda trust the Hippo Skins but as I've discovered with Kenda tires their puncture protection consist of a Laffy Taffy belt, so I'm just being paranoid. My wife and I were coming home from the CVS last Sunday...

    Review of my Lectric ONE.

So I added some tire liners to the ONE while I'm waiting for the back ordered mirrors. Let me point this out now, the tires are a PITA to install on the ONE! While the Xpedition can be comically easy to mount the tires the ONE is completely opposite. Just getting that last bit of tire over the...

Fish tanks, who messes with them?

We had normal fresh water fish at first in a 45 gallon hexagon tank. Somehow a cichlid ended up in the tank and we up sized to the 70 gallon for the cichlids. Then the cichlids got HUGE and we surrendered them to a local fish only pet store and have normal fresh water fish again. I personally...

    interesting new garmin radar data

I just stay aware of whats behind me with me mirrors, and stay aware of whats around me as well. Drivers in my area are so aggressive and dumb the alerts would be going off all the time. Instead of collecting data (is kinda neat though) I'd rather have a GoPro style camera(s) mounted on the...

    Mechanical Cable Actuated Disc Brakes

My co-worker almost bought a set of NUTT hydraulic sealed calipers but was leery of the cable end. He ended up with ZOOM full hydraulic brakes that he cut the hoses to length and then filled/bled each brake. I was really hoping he would have went with the NUTT sealed caliper set that was still...

    Mechanical Cable Actuated Disc Brakes

So I've used the same auto repair shop for over 35 years. I know the owner because we grew up together. Not like besties's but we knew each other pretty well growing up. Anyways, I'll drop a car off for inspection and, say, a headlight is out. I go and pick the car up and the headlight is still...

    SRAM co-founder's global bicycle philanthropy

I love that he mentioned Return Of Investment, or R.O.I., and it wasn't followed by the "money" but actual positive community impact. My work has a high number of robotics. They, robotics, seem to increase every year. All these robots have a small sign mounted to the base that says when they...

What's the Blue Book Sales Price of your Bike? Am I asking/paying too much?

On motorcycles you always here "No one pays extra for add on accessories." yet why does the dealership freak out when you remove them before letting them sell you bike? My way of looking at ebikes is this. If the ebike is under $2000 I usually donate it to someone who will use it. By the time...

    Mechanical Cable Actuated Disc Brakes

I always listen to music, on the louder side, in our cars. Recently I drove my wife's 2005 Subaru with around 250,000 on it and actually turned the radio off. Heard so many weird noises! The car rarely gets driven but it gets state inspected every year and I do go over it visually and check tire...

Fish tanks, who messes with them?

Il Munduato, that tank looked nice! I tried sand before but it was so much trouble. I've never fully tried salt water. I'm obsessed with sea horses though! One day I'll give salt a try so I can have sea horses. I have normal fish right now. I'll get a picture up later of my tank.

Fish tanks, who messes with them?

I realized I had the check valve on a disconnected air line! Live and learn (the hard way). This isn't the first time I've had water problems l. Major roof leak during a hurricane flooded the same floor. Dropping a 5 gallon water bucket once on the same floor a year later. The one thing I did...
