    Tire Liners

Though most soap is considered safe to use.. Most commercially available tire mount lubes are vegetable oil base. On my bike I've used some diluted Simple Green with good results.

    Tire Liners

Yes, petroleum based oils especially. Rubber will swell and split. Most lube used in conjunction with rubber is silicone based.

Well technically that's true... but you'd be surprised at the amount of talent out there that's capable. I guess your Mrs.'s was able to walk it off after all... 👍

    Damaged charger wire

Things should work as before the charger was damaged.

    Damaged charger wire

You probably have poor connections then. The wire is stranded and most likely some of the strands broke leaving you with very little copper to carry the current. You'll need to make a proper repair or replace.

    Damaged charger wire

Was the charger plugged in when the dog attacked it? He may have damaged it. Test the voltage output. Otherwise you may have a poor connection at your repair. Crimp like those suggested work well for this type of repair.

You try carrying around a third leg... After a while being called tripod isn't funny anymore, especially when the ladies scream bloody murder. 🙃

LVC is the voltage the bike shuts down to protect the battery. There are two.. One in the battery, the other in the motor controller. Typically set around 40 - 41v on a 48v battery Ah is the amount of stored power. Generally higher Ah batteries will have greater range and lower voltage drop on...

Rockshox Monarch RL... Doesn't fully extend?

OK... measured and as I ASSumed. Monarch is 15mm eyelet without bushing. DNM is 14mm You can measure accurately enough just viewing the profile. I doubt you will find the needed bushing as it would be kinda thin with a 0.65mm wall thickness. I guess one hack would be to sand it from 12mm to...

Rockshox Monarch RL... Doesn't fully extend?

Well hold on... Not sure you'll find the size needed. Both Rockshox and DNM have bushings in the eyelet from the factory to protect the eyelet. This way when it wears you just change the bushing. Initial search tells me.. Rockshox is 15mm OD to 12.7mm ID DNM is the 14mm OD to 12mm ID. The...

Rockshox Monarch RL... Doesn't fully extend?

One other possibility is the shocks come with bushings pressed into the eyelet. Maybe you can find eyelet bushings for the DNM that have an ID of 12.7mm. I'll look at mine later and let you know what I see. The bushings are easy to press out and are part of the Rockshox 100hr maintenance. Also...

Rockshox Monarch RL... Doesn't fully extend?

If you read the negative reviews about DNM shocks many of them are that they received it and then realized they use different hardware then what they had. Really not fair as it seems some Fox hardware is different then Rockshox. On my old bike it was all the same and I only had to file down the...

    Toseven DM02 500W Motor

It becomes complicated because all batteries aren't created equal. A 3cell/parallel will act different than a 5cell/parallel. A 18650 cell will be a little different then a 21700. And then there's the differences in chemistry and the batteries rated max current output. Then add in the difference...

    Toseven DM02 500W Motor

In one way that makes sense as the upper voltages are more efficient and drop slower. That said I've never used % and once you know your battery it's not hard to get a feeling for what's left by following the voltage. Probably not what the typical end user wants though.

Rockshox Monarch RL... Doesn't fully extend?

Why can't you use the old bolts? And looking at the sleeve hardware you ordered the OD is 12.7mm. If your DNM arrives like mine the eyelet bushing is 12mm

    Toseven DM02 500W Motor

I wouldn't worry about the battery LED syncing with the display. Personally.. I would set my desired LV cut off in the controller (39v seems safe enough as that's still a little over 22% on the average 18650 cell) and use that for 0%. Keeping in mind it should be a little higher than the LV...

Rockshox Monarch RL... Doesn't fully extend?

And if you are staying with 10mm...why do you need new bolts anyway? Just took a look at mine and there's a 8mm shoulder in the frame that the bolt goes through so I have to stay 8mm. Does yours have a similar 10mm shoulder in the frame and suspension linkage? I'm talking about the area where...
