Well there's not much you can do then. I'd have Giant verify that the charger is working properly.

They're a decent bike.. but have just as many issues as others and you pay a premium for bragging rights. But the problem isn't the bike... it's more the typical ignorant/arrogant drawn to them who are convinced they have something special and the attitude displayed.

I concur... I've never counted links. And though my workbench isn't surgically clean, it is long enough to stretch out a new chain on and do as you do. Then I know the link count by how many I've removed. I save the removed links for a much quicker reference for the next time as well. That said...

You could have a defective battery... but also care goes a long way. Did you store it fully charged or at a low state of charge? Charge in very cold/hot condition?

actually 15.534 Repairing requires skill and experience. You can teach a monkey to be a part changer.. especially when at the bike owners expense. But when the load only needs to reach 15.534 mph... it should last for centuries. 🙃
