Best cargo bags (panniers?) for groceries?

I've used MTX bags for decades. They really work well. I commuted into the early winter in New England and wore full finger insulated gloves. The zipper pulls were no problem with gloves on. You could always add a short lanyard through the zipper pull holes to make them easier to use.

Best cargo bags (panniers?) for groceries?

Topeak has an adapter plate for their MTX rack bag systems. It clamps onto many third party racks.

Your numbers are ok for spitballing, but you are making a lot of assumptions about bike weight, rider weight, rider pedaling efficiency, cadence, and with the e-bike, drive unit efficiency. You can't just mash power numbers.

Hello from FL and an Addmotor owner

We do not repair batteries, and only take trade-ins on new bikes in person. We are in Massachusetts. HIC rebuilds Addmotor batteries.

The $175 gets it in the door and the next steps determined. Any remediation is parts and labor on top of that. If you decide to trash it and walk, you only pay the fee. If you pay for parts and labor, and more than one "fix" is needed, you pay for parts and we cut you a deal on labor. We may...

Bosch BES3 is the same way. To replace a wireless component, the old one must be deleted first in the Flow app before the new one can be recognized at all. It won't pair until you do that.

I'm a retired engineer, and I had to watch those videos twice to figure out how it all works. It is an absolutely ingenious design that relies heavily on precision machining. I bet that any grit or dirt inside would wreck it in no time.

Where do you keep your bike?

BTW, I have a much higher chance of some yahoo driving too fast down my street and ending up in my living room than one of my e-bikes catching on fire and burning the house down.

Hello from FL and an Addmotor owner

Our shop will attempt to repair any e-bike, and we have a pretty good success rate. However, we have a $175 diagnostic fee which you pay whether we can fix it or not. Nobody else here will attempt to fix an e-bike that they did not sell.

Sur-Rons, Super73's, and clones are all over our bike trails. That ship has sailed.

Where do you keep your bike?

Attached garage with an enclosed breezeway in between. Good separation in case of meltdown.

What have you learned from your e-bike experiences?

No answer as to what the dealer asked Velotric to cover and no details regarding their answer, and why they feel that way.

Many, if not most, of the US routes in the Northeast are not good for bicycles. Some have wide shoulders, but they are littered with debris. Many have no shoulder at all. I suggest that you plan a week's worth of riding using a bicycle-centric route planner like RideWithGPS. Check out points of...

What have you learned from your e-bike experiences?

I did not see that post because it is on another forum. Blasting the company all over the internet does not help your case. If this bike had come into our Velotric dealership, I would want to know exactly why Velotric would not replace the wheel under warranty. We are only getting half of the...

Carbon flat bar - Tesoro Vado Skitch?

The TQ system controller can show range based on current conditions. I don't know if it broadcasts this. I'll know soon. It's not something that I pay attention to. A function that requires my phone to use is useless to me. I don't, and never will, ride with my phone on my bike.
