A handlebar riser does make for a more comfortable ride-for me

Change the bars to a high rise bar. It's cheaper and sturdier.

Tesoro Automatiq does 183km and 1860m vert on one charge

Click down into the article referenced by the "marketing material". It's all there.

    Tour of Denmark 2025

Agreed, but "epic" has been prioritized over "challenging". My take is that has been driven by social media and extreme sport involvement from companies like Red Bull. It buys eyeballs. NASCAR, IRL, and F1 are all in with them. Racing keeps getting faster and faster, and even as safety has...

Tesoro Automatiq does 183km and 1860m vert on one charge

It is very impressive marketing material, but that doesn't make it fiction. It took him 10:09 at 11.6mph average. 6100ft. up, 9,675ft. down, so probably a good bit of off. Who cares? He did the ride at his pace and ended up with 6% left in the main battery. Lights on at all times. I wonder how...

Tesoro Automatiq does 183km and 1860m vert on one charge

Me too. It's Stromer/R&M class. I would think that there would be a market for it in the USA, especially where I live. I built two Tesoro X1's last week for a local couple. They were asking about the range extender.

Updated. Would I like to take a week off to strangle the Pinarello rep? Don't ask. ;)

Tesoro Automatiq does 183km and 1860m vert on one charge

The thing is, it was on their website a few months back, and then they pulled it and put up a banner page "Not available in your region".

    Tour of Denmark 2025

Next season, I'm going to have to rethink my streaming strategy. Missing half of the great races isn't a good one. I have the annual Peacock no ads, but we could drop it and go month to month to help pay for Max.

That's a whole 'notha debacle. Potentially. I might have to take a week off of riding.

stompandgo's Cannondale Tesoro Neo X Speed build

I took a nice ride yesterday, and after loading the bike on my cheap Hyperax rack, it fell off in the parking lot. I did not have the wheel straps on since the drive is less than a mile. Damage was minimal but the bike cannot be ridden without repair. The loaner Most saddle and the left Ergon...

Tesoro Automatiq does 183km and 1860m vert on one charge

Link to article. A guy wanted to test the range of his Tesoro Automatiq and ended up riding to Chamonix on one charge. PowerTube 800. Of course, they don't sell it in the USA.

It's still high season here, so they bother everybody. Most of the plates in the lot were from out of state. Thankfully, it has started to taper off where I live. The lower and outer Cape season lasts the longest.

Not really advanced but - cassette wear after first 180 miles?

By lowest gear, do you mean the largest gear, cog #1? If so, skipping can be from a limit screw that needs adjustment, or a derailleur hangar that's out of alignment.

    Need Saddle Advice!

Saddle width is the #1 most important factor determining saddle comfort. Most people ride saddles that are too wide.

Ordered Creo 2 Comp need info about app, bike, etc please

For your question on tires, the ones that come with the bike look like a nice combination of road speed and gravel capability. I suggest that you ride them for a while first before thinking about changing them. It's not like they're worth a lot of money as take-offs.

Ordered Creo 2 Comp need info about app, bike, etc please

There are some very knowledgeable Specialized members here, so I just have one comment about your bike. As Allan47 said, it uses the SRAM Apex/Eagle eTap AXS 1x electronic drivetrain. If you have never owned a bike with electronic shifting, as long as you keep it dialed, you're going to love it...
