    E-Horn?

Maybe a clown nose would help dampen the sound. It might fit inside the cone. AirZound makes a similar device that simply uses air. Just inflate it with your bike pump. It’s probably just as loud though. The horn, from the above kit, is inside the headlight and pretty dinky. I wired in this...

    NEW como mirrors

I use the Myrrcle Mirror as well. I like it. I’ve had it for about 5 years now and it’s been great. Doesn’t scratch when I wipe it down. The above mirrors would be nice too. They seem to have a wider viewing area. I’d try those if the Myrrcle ever broke.

    E-Horn?

Overkill. You aren’t alone. I commute with street traffic. I got this kit… …..and hardwired it to my bike. I also added motorcycle type turn signals and wired them into this kit. I use handsignals, as well, for good measure. :) A bell and mirror were my first accessories I installed. You...

    E-Horn?

I find those all over Amazon. I’m sure eBay and others have them as well. Maybe not the exact ones, but they have all the same features. Like this one… https://a.co/d/fqg9Ca9 I found the exact one here… https://ebay.us/m/nM3haE

What brake pads do I buy???

Glad you got it! I watched this video to help me. But instead of a second syringe, I used the cup that screws into the brake lever reservoir.

What brake pads do I buy???

I use resin pads too. I like them. I don’t use them much when I brake now though (thanks regen) so it’ll be a while before I need to change them. Strange about that wire. It cut off that corner! Good thing you caught it now. I’d be curious to know if you ever see them again or where they came...

Calipers That Will Not Adjust Straight

Rather than swapping the calipers, it might take similar effort, or less, to clean the piston. Nice to know you have a back up if need be. :)

What brake pads do I buy???

I thought you had a rubber boot over the stanchions? They fell off, didn't they? lol

Calipers That Will Not Adjust Straight

I don’t think you have to use that particular lever. I wonder if you can put a hydraulic hose into any lever. UNLESS one of the 2 is proprietary.

Calipers That Will Not Adjust Straight

I think you need a brake bleed.

What brake pads do I buy???

I had that happen when I was changing a flat. I didn’t put a chalk into the caliper to keep the pads separate and they closed. The only way, I thought, to fix it was to open the reservoir, at the brake lever, to relieve pressure. Then I could insert the chalk to push the postings outward. Then...

    Juices G2 52V battery doesn’t fit crosscurrent S2 bike

Did you use AI for that? Juiced cant be contacted anymore. I think it was Lectric that picked them up. Ravi was helping out for a bit.

Old guy wants new bike (hopefully).

What if you convert a Cube bike? There are many mid drive kits available. You won’t have to change your tires out and it’s generally a lighter option, as opposed to hub motors. Here is a thread with some examples of mid drive conversions.

    Disc2 trouble updating

I don’t have this bike, just a couple of thoughts. Do you have a VPN active? That could create this condition. Are you trying on WiFi? If you are on WiFi, try using cellular instead.

Best cargo bags (panniers?) for groceries?

I’ve been looking at that bag too. I have panniers (KotoMoto). The zippers are starting to fray, after almost 4 years. I like that you can drop the panniers down and fold them up as needed. Might be my next bag. The one requirement I have is for the bag to have clips, instead of zippers...

    Folding e-bike for small airplane

True. Yes. That is the exception.

    Folding e-bike for small airplane

Yes, for commercial flights. That’s why a battery like this exists. Each unit is 99wh.

    Folding e-bike for small airplane

Oh yea. I commuted on my electric scooter. After a couple of miles, I wanted to sit. The scooter has pneumatic tires and dual suspension so I thought it would be rainbows and roses, but my knees were feeling it by the end and I didn’t chip a tooth. Seats are nice.

Upgraded my 700xr with a new controller. :)

Thanks! Gotta not be late! I’ve had that watch for over a decade now. Had to replace the strap once. I use a thick rubber ring around the bar, then strapped it down. It doesn’t budge.
