A review of the nero

Anyone get an email update this past week? I had gotten two 'October Batch Follow Up' emails on Monday's 11/2 and 11/9. No email arrived this week.....

I just test rode an ebike with only 48 miles (Bought 2019 June). When I got on the bike the battery level indicated 3 bars out of 5. I took it for about a mile ride on highest pedal assist. Did a lot of throttle only and went up some hills. The battery was down to one bar when I was done...

Latest email from 11/9 '....The ports are so backed up that the shipment is actually still on the vessel and hasn't even been brought into the port yet......' Looking like it might be my Christmas present to myself :-)

I received an email from Espin on Monday 11/2 for the October shipment. Arrived in port 10/29. Waiting to clear customs. Not sure how long that will take.....

Any new shipment update emails from Espin on the Nero? I had received an email on the 14th of October. They mentioned the bikes arriving at customs the 28th and then taking time to clear.

To clarify, I would agree that these two models should provide a very similar experience. Just was stating that they are not the same bikes out of the same factory, simply rebranded by two different companies.

Not sure they are the same. For example Rad Rover has a bafang 750 watt motor, the Nero has a Shengyi 500w I believe. They are comparable....

I understood this model. No brick and mortar costs, no inventory costs = much lower price. Not too surprised about the delay...

Bummer that it is pushed out. My riding window is closing here in Wisconsin.

I have not, guessing late October.....That is how I interpret 'October' delivery. I think the previous monthly delivery estimates for other Espin models were delivered at the end of the month. Hope I am wrong and it comes earlier :)
